This extension helps you control how many YouTube tabs you keep open. Perfect if you open too many videos but never watch them.
What it does:
- Set your own limit for YouTube tabs (example: maximum 5 or 9999 tabs)
- When you try to open too many, a popup will make you select some tabs to close.
- Easy one-click closing: click ❌ next to any tab to close it
- Or select multiple tabs and click "Close Selected"
- See your current count on the extension icon (example: "3/5")
- 100% private - everything works on your computer only
Why I built this:
I used to open 200+ YouTube tabs and never watch them. Now I stay more organized and actually deciding what really worth watching what I open!

It makes people question themself while they are trying not to throttle down their fear of missing out (FOMO) by not using Unhook. Please provide a dark mode for both the extension popup & the "Manage YouTube Tabs" page and also add a warning dialogue box from the browser when I'm one tab away from the maximum tab limit. You should also create extensions for other social media & e-commerce sites so that people can save both their time & money. I hope your extension becomes as famous and successful as Unhook.
