- (2024-12-19) Kiyasu Oka: You can choose between .html and .xlsx, and the HTML backup includes even the full time stamps of edits and individual message IDs (if you look at the source code of the HTML file carefully). Now I don't have to manually "Copy Message Link" and save down every URL anymore before deleting posts; these offline HTML backups bring a peace of mind and saves me a LOT of time from this alone. As with Discord chat exporters, this one comes with its perks that another doesn't have, while the other one I use have different perks that this one doesn't have, so I use every exporter I have. But including the full time stamp of edits and even individual message IDs is helpful for me when the other ones I use don't seem to include this bit of backup. I recommend using multiple chat exporters (including this one) if you want to make sure as many bits of detail is saved down successfully (especially before deleting posts).

I regularly use Discord for work, and being able to export and download chat logs in Xlsx and html format has been incredibly helpful. The images being downloaded along with the text is a fantastic feature, as it allows me to have everything in one place. I highly recommend this extension to anyone who uses Discord regularly.
- (2023-04-19) Maize S: Honestly works, first go. Exported up to first 2 day range to test worked. well i brought the pro version, and it got 90% of what i wanted, then i just grabbed the last section and was good. Not bad for how fast it is was like 5 clicks. cant complain for 8 bucks
