Description from store Change color and save your vision. The extension Night Shift protect your vision with dark mode. Нow does this extension protect your vision? It change the color temperature of all content in the direction of the yellowish part of the color spectrum, which reduces part of the blue light on the screen, which reduces eye strain when used in the dark, helping to reduce sleep problems. It automatically turns on when it gets dark, the color temperature becomes warmer. You can choose one of three schedule options: 1. Sunset to Sunrise (Chrome colors will be shaded everyday automatically on Sunset). 2. Off (Manually enable the Night Shift to shade the screen). 3. Custom (Set up your own schedule to start up and finish display color adjustments). You can also adjust the dark mode yourself or disable it on one specific site. You can right click to change some block's color, and you can disabled or enabled the function by context menu. Appearance becomes unusual and more attractive. Vision protect is only your concern, that's why I recommend you use this night color spectrum. To use dark mode, you should refresh all pages, otherwise you will not notice that Night Shifts started working. You no longer need to open the settings one at a time for different sites - only one application change color across the entire network. (2020-07-26) IamAdonut :D: its pretty useful thank you. since my laptop screen gives off a blue-ish color and it kinda tire my eyes out. i tried different extensions but I personally don't like them. although i gave this a 4 star because when i open certain websites like twitter while using dark mode, it'll change the black screen into the glass color that i chose instead of overlaying the colors. but overall it's pretty good
