この拡張機能は、アクティブなタブ上のM3U8ストリーミングフォーマットを検出し、これらのセグメント化されたストリームを単一のファイルとしてユーザーのローカルディスクにダウンロードすることを提供します。この拡張機能では、異なる品質を選択することができ、InDexedDB を使用してセグメントを保存します。また、ファイルが完全に取得されると、すべてのセグメントが自動的に結合されます。ダウンロード機能を向上させるために、この拡張機能は元のページへのリファラーヘッダーを設定します。
この拡張機能は、HLS ストリームのダウンロードに複数のスレッドを使用して、ダウンロードの速度と安定性を向上させます。また、ネットワーク障害時のダウンロードプロセスの再開もサポートしています（TDM.JSエンジンのおかげです）。
使い方は以下の通りです。
1. https://videojs.com/ のようなストリーミングサイトにアクセスします。
2. ツールバーの色が変わるまで待つ
3. ツールバーのボタンを一度クリックして、画質を選択します。
4. ダウンロードが終了するまで待ちます。進捗状況はバッジのテキストで確認できます。

アクティブなダウンロードジョブを中止するには、タブを更新するか、タブを閉じるか、ツールバーのボタンを1つ押す。

- (2023-09-17) Anno Niem: Nope, another one that doesn't do a good job in the file naming department. Stream Downloader does a better job. Too bad, having the download's go trough a new window has some merit although it does clutter up the task bar so 1 window and then tabs for added download options would be better. Also not a fan of it saving files as .mkv, I rather have .mp4 files but that's just my personal preference.

Finally there is a way for taking advantage of this tool is by using it's detecting function and copy the link and paste to any external downloading program (It can become a handy!)
