- (2025-06-08) EATOR: there is no particular concept to set shortcut for each snippets....:(
- (2025-03-15) Savannah Adams: I like this extension a lot. However I need space for more than 100 snippets. I wish there was a low price paid for version with more space.
- (2025-02-13) Yannick: doesn't work
- (2024-12-30) Kianna Xue: Perfect, simple, fast. Exactly what I needed for a text expander solution!! Thank you so much.
- (2024-10-23) Henry Paz: Great App. Highly recommended.
- (2024-10-19) Saqib Ishfaq: Just tested it and looks amazing and fast. Free too but with 100 snippets space limit. I guess this will be more than enough.
- (2024-09-20) Berel Levy: Works quite well. Also seems to remember fields!
- (2024-07-28) YG ABCDries: 1. Looking great, fantastic in fact. 2. At first I couldn't quite clearly see what exactly a "web snippet" might mean or refer to. Now OK, it's like an EqualFill-selectable item on a webpage (( as indicated by the right-side helper overlay when having pressed "+ Web Snippet" )), and ultimately it will make us jump right back to exactly that web location. 3. Remarkably, "==" doesn't seem to work in this ChromeWebStore Review textbox.
- (2024-07-25) Robert: I love you for making this. Truly, love you. lol. After seeing the downfall of Auto-text expander turning into Magical, this extension is exactly what I wanted. The only downside is that it has a limit of 100 macros right now. Any plans to increase this? Or is it a limitation of the new Chrome Extension framework?
- (2024-06-21) Crow: Really good! Do you have plans to make it for firefox?
- (2024-03-18) N R: Does not work in Javascript pages in Salesforce. The Magic one does but is subscription only. So a really nice enhancement for Equalfill would be to support text insertion when composing text in the Salesforce (Lightning) email edit window.
- (2024-03-08) reggie: Easily one of the best text expanders I have seen, and the only text expander I have found that offers everything I need from a text expander all while being completely free. Of course there are some things that could be improved, a major one would be for a way to autofill without using '=='. It would be nice if we could create our own keyword as for one, as it can be sorta awkward hitting the equal sign twice to call the extension on a qwerty keyboard as it is near on the top right of the keyboard. Also having our own custom keyword would be nice as we could use one char to call the extension instead of two. Also it would be nice if it was a little bit more customizable. One of the reasons this is needed is the fact that it can be weird to only be able to enter in the extension by using the double equals keyword as this means we have to do this when we want to create a new snippet or edit an old snippet. A way to workaround or even expand on via customization(or another means) would be nice Despite the complaints, this extension still managed to be one of the best autofill extensions out there all while doing its job very fast and smooth. Kudos to the developer !
- (2024-02-20) Bert Mahoney: This is a fantastic tool. Effective, and unobtrusive—kudos to the development team. One piece of feedback about the "USAGE" section. When I read these two lines: > Press the "==" keys to start entering the snippet name. > Use the dashboard to add a custom snippet or a web snippet. I think this is a bit more descriptive of the experience. Begin by typing the "equals" key twice — "==" — then continue typing the name of your shortcut. As you type, the Dashboard window will automatically appear. Within this window, look for the "New Custom Snippet Button." Click this button to either add a custom snippet or a web snippet. If anyone has improvements to that, please share. And thanks once again for a fantastic, lightweight, and responsive tool!
- (2023-10-09) Gábor Lippert: 👍 Huge thanks to the dev!!! And please please keep this extension alive and maintained. Just like the other review, I don't understand the low usage/download and review number - this is an awesome extension that does its job (text expansion) pretty well. I don't miss any features, I'm happy I finally found a REALLY FREE, not freemium text expander that works fine.
