Marketer Companion helps SEOs and marketers move faster — inspect URLs in Google Search Console, run live PageSpeed (Lighthouse) tests, and check GA4 + Search Console performance in one focused UI.

WHAT IT DOES
• Indexing (GSC URL Inspection): coverage, canonicals, last crawl, robots status.
• Live Test (PageSpeed Insights): run Lighthouse on mobile/desktop and see key metrics + opportunities.
• GA4 Analytics: quick reports (Users, Sessions, Views, Events) with compare-to-previous and CSV export.
• GSC Performance: totals for Clicks/Impressions/CTR/Position with 7/30/90/custom ranges and whole-property toggle.
• On-Page Audit (no API): reads the current tab’s DOM to summarize title, meta, robots/canonical, headings, link/image counts, and JSON-LD types.

PRIVACY
• Your Google data stays on your device. OAuth tokens are stored only in chrome.storage.local.
• We do not sell or share data with anyone. No external developer server.
• You can sign out anytime; tokens are cleared in one click.

PERMISSIONS (why we need them)
• identity — sign in with Google (OAuth) to call GSC/GA4 on your behalf.
• storage — save local settings and OAuth tokens in your browser.
• activeTab — read the active tab URL to scope audits and GSC requests.
• scripting — inject a one-time content script for the On-Page audit when you click the button.

TIPS
• Use a verified property that actually covers the URL you inspect.
• GA4 auto-detects measurement IDs from the active tab and suggests the right property.
