We all love Ad Blockers, but thereās no denying that YouTube is saturated with native sponsored content. SponsorSkip is a chrome extension that uses natural language processing to predict and assist in skipping embedded sponsorships.
Utilising YouTubeās native UI, SponsorSkip presents a neutral āSkip Sponsorshipā prompt at the beginning of predicted sponsorships.
Sometimes, we get things wrongā¦ Or, you may genuinely want to watch the content. In this case, the prompt can simply either be dismissed or ignored!

- (2020-03-08) Mitchell Stapleton-Coory: This works surprisingly well. Seems to pickup most keywords that are used to introduce and discuss sponsorships, and then gives you a better UX for skipping ahead than the general YouTube player. I recommend it.
