Description from store
Scrobble your watched shows/movies from Netflix, Amazon Prime, HBO Max, and other streaming services, to Trakt.tv!
You can use this extension to:
- Scrobble shows/movies that you're watching in the supported streaming services to Trakt.tv in real time.
- Sync your watch history from the supported streaming services with Trakt.tv.
- Make it so that the sync runs automatically every specified number of days.
Each functionality is completely optional. For each functionality to work, you must be logged in to the streaming service that you're scrobbling/syncing from.
For some streaming services, the extension might store a cache of the credentials that are needed to make requests to the service's API, but this information is never shared with any external services, and you always have the option to clear the cache.
For other services, it simply scrubs the web page for information about what you're watching.
None of the data collected by the extension is ever shared with any external services without your consent, and it's only ever used to scrobble/sync the shows/movies that you watch across several different streaming services to Trakt.tv.
You have the option to share some data to:
- Rollbar: you can share information about bugs so that they can be more easily fixed.
- Our Server: you can share information about corrections that you made to wrong matches between the streaming service and Trakt.tv so that they can be of use to other users.
Supported streaming services:
- Netflix
- Amazon Prime (may not work well in some regions)
- HBO Max (has limited syncing functionality)
- Many more!

- (2024-01-15) Mathias Wynne: Works for Netflix but not for Amazon Prime (https://www.amazon.co.uk/Amazon-Video/). Still, it's free, so thanks for writing it anyhow!
- (2023-12-30) Shahin: works for netflix but not for max. Please add support for Tubi TV.
- (2023-12-27) Aman: This sadly does not work for prime video but it does work for netflix, thankfully. Sometimes I get a error message saying I'm not signed into prime video when I actually am. I hope this gets fixed soon.
- (2023-11-17) Niklas Kammertöns: Worked for Netflix and Amazon Prime Video - it's free and open source so 5 stars for appreciation of the effort Doesn't work perfectly though and has room for improvement (Netflix synced all history to trakt.tv, but never finished to process sync locally). So when I run a second Sync it will push all Netflix history to my account again and will create duplicated (rewatches) in trakt. Also some specific titles (mostly shows) don't get found - it might be possible to force search a match when implementing for example GPT3.5 LLM to brute force search variations until it matches.

- (2023-07-14) Michael Federman: I've been pulling this from github for a bit, and was very excited to see it appear on the web store. Mubi and Netflix are the only 2 services that consistently work for pulling history, while Prime worked once and Max never worked. I can't wait to see this progress, and to the comment about it not being in lock-step with github, this is tied to the master branch, if you are using the pre-releases, that is when they do not match.

- (2023-05-30) Salomon Dabbah: I really love everything they are doing with Trakt! This extension has great potential, still some bugs like infinite notifications when switching windows but overall a fantastic experience! I hope they keep developing it and improving it!

- (2023-05-27) Luca Ravx: Not working with Netflix, opens an empty tab (chrome-extension://....) and remain with the loader indefinitively. Some bug with Amazon prime, but in the end seems to work. Also seems not updated with the released Github version
