Extension allows eCHARMS (Streamline Health CDI/Abstract) to communicate with encoders/groupers to exchange information for purposes of coding and grouping. Existing diagnosis codes, procedure codes and demographics are sent to the encoder. After coding is completed in the encoder, the updated diagnosis codes, procedure codes, and grouping information is sent back to eCHARMS.
