Additionally some of the diagram types have special diagram specific features. For example if you’re looking to draw a flowchart then the contextual toolbar recognizes this based on the diagram type and show process, decision blocks as next object. This awareness based on diagram type in present in UML diagram, network diagrams, database design diagram, organizational charts and more.
A good example of a diagram specific feature is the filtering options you find when drawing a organizational chart. By default an object in an organization chart have Name, title and department but you can change the display to name only, title only with one single click. This enables to you to present the same org chart to different departments, teams while hiding/showing necessary details.
*Smart objects for intelligent diagramming*
What sets Creately apart from other traditional diagram software is our smart objects. With Creately an object is not just a simple image, but an object that can store data and that will act on that data in the context of the diagram. Creating Database diagrams for example can generate the graphics for tables based on the shapes content. The connectors for the given type of shapes changes based on direction and orientation.

After i binded my account, suddenly it tells me that i cant view that project cause its not mine?! Are you dumb? What is this man.... Still its a good maker, im just rating it 1 star cause im salty and now i have nothing to submit.

It's completely unclear how the controls work and it makes it impossible to move something without a clear reason. I suggest you stay away from this thing and use anything else that's out there because it doesn't get more frustrating then this.

- (2016-03-31) Matthew Puglisi: My immediate concern after installing the app were the Permission requirements; as follows: Google Contacts (Manage your contacts) Basic account info (View your basic profile info, View your email address, Know who you are on Google) Ok, I understand the last three, but managing my contacts? Um, NO!! This is not acceptable and I see no reason for this. For a diagramming application I consider this a security issue. Too bad, because it looks like a pretty outstanding app. It's a shame an ill-advised ask is what ruined its potential for me. I guess I'll stick with Gliffy for now. :)

It took some time to figure out the toolbar that pops up when you select an object but its an amazing option that saves you hours. I think they should do a better job of explaining that. Loved the templates as well, makes life that much easier when you need a flowchart. Overall a great alternative to MS Visio and thinking of upgrading to a team plan. Good work guys.
