Cada uno de estos tipos de diagramas tiene una librería especial, por lo que solo tiene que cargar los objetos más necesarios al dibujar el diagrama. Adicionalmente, algunos tipos de diagramas tienen características especiales del tipo de diagrama. Por ejemplo, si desea dibujar un diagrama de flujo, la barra de herramientas contextual reconoce esto con base en el tipo de diagrama y muestra como siguientes objetos los bloques de proceso y decisión. Esta conciencia con base en el tipo de diagrama está disponible en los diagramas UML, red, diseño de bases de datos, cuadros organizacionales y muchos más.
Un buen ejemplo de una característica específica del diagrama es la opción de filtrado que encuentra al dibujar un cuadro organizacional. De forma predeterminada, los objetos de los cuadros organizacionales tienen nombre, título y departamento, pero puede cambiarlo para que solo muestre el nombre y título con un solo clic. Esto permite que presente el mismo cuadro organizacional en diferentes departamentos y equipos, mostrando u ocultando los detalles necesarios.

Lo que diferencia a Creately de los demás software tradicionales de diagramas son nuestros objetos inteligentes. After i binded my account, suddenly it tells me that i cant view that project cause its not mine?! Are you dumb? What is this man.... It's completely unclear how the controls work and it makes it impossible to move something without a clear reason. I suggest you stay away from this thing and use anything else that's out there because it doesn't get more frustrating then this.

- (2016-03-31) Matthew Puglisi: My immediate concern after installing the app were the Permission requirements; as follows: Google Contacts (Manage your contacts) Basic account info (View your basic profile info, View your email address, Know who you are on Google) Ok, I understand the last three, but managing my contacts? Um, NO!! This is not acceptable and I see no reason for this. For a diagramming application I consider this a security issue. Too bad, because it looks like a pretty outstanding app. It's a shame an ill-advised ask is what ruined its potential for me. I guess I'll stick with Gliffy for now. :)

It took some time to figure out the toolbar that pops up when you select an object but its an amazing option that saves you hours. I think they should do a better job of explaining that. Loved the templates as well, makes life that much easier when you need a flowchart. Overall a great alternative to MS Visio and thinking of upgrading to a team plan. Good work guys.
