ChatGPT limits the number of messages you can send to certain models (gpt-5, gpt-5-thinking) over certain periods of time.
The ChatGPT UI tells you when you’ve exceeded your quota, but doesn’t tell you exactly how many messages you‘ve sent.
This extension tracks how many messages you‘ve sent to each model over a period of time — one week gpt-5-thinking; and three hours for gpt-5, to help you judge how close to the limit you might be.

- Very useful but doesn't add messages when you re-generate the response using "Switch model". Would be much-much better if you would be able to add to the counter manually

- Great Extension, works as expected. Eagerly waiting for o3 update. My weekly counters for o1 reset at a certain time every week. It would be nice if instead of manually resetting this every week - I could set this day of week/time and it would automatically take care of it.

- Doesn't work with /reason for o1 model, thinks that it's a 4o prompt. Counts if the full chat is in a given model.

- Great product. Would be 5/5 if the counter would be always displayed somewhere on my screen whenever I'm using ChatGPT. Having to click on the extension every time does not keep me up to date as well, since it depends on me remembering to check.

- I'm using your extension for a veeery long time and its really useful, I mean it. But you need to add a reset button and a count down timer like after the first message entered, it should count back from 3 hours to 0 for chatgpt 4o for example.

- Great extension! Could you add a "Reset" button to reset the counters? The o1-preview model refreshes its 50 uses once a week, and it would be helpful to press "Reset" to synchronize with the start of a new cycle.

- Very useful and the developers are quick to update when ChatGPT gets an update. One thing I'd suggest is making a version for Firefox users.

- ChatGPT changed their rules unexpectedly, breaking the app for many users. I reached out to the dev, who responded very rapidly, and very professionally. Within a day, the app has been fixed, and is working again. I highly recommend this app, and realized how much I'd come to rely on it once it was down. I'm surprised ChatGPT doesn't have this functionality baked into their app. At any rate, great app, great dev team, and highly recommended. Most of the bad reviews on this are because ChatGPT changed something, breaking the app temporarily, so hopefully it can recover some of the bad reviews it got over the past day or two.

- I will give a five for it's utility, but I would like to notify that it suddenly stopped working. After simply deleting and re-installing, it worked again, but just to let you know there are some bugs with this extension

- This should be an inbuild function, but this extension does exactly what you need it to do. This way, you always know how much messages you have left. Perfect. Had a bug, messaged the dev, he fixed it in less than 3 hours. Outstanding.

- Great extention, but sometime the counter isn't correct I didn't use chatgpt since yesterday but today chatgpt says i reached the limit but the extention still shows 19 ( I kinda believe the extention over chatgpt) as a solution can you add a reset botton in case I used chatgpt somewhere else, for example when clicking on the botton it sends a message in chatgpt if the returened message is "Limit reached" reset the counter to 0. Thanks

- I see the last time this extension was upgraded was on October 27th. So the limit isn't 50 anymore, it's 40. My extension shows "50 left" even though I reached my limit already.

- I went over my limit and Chatterclock said I still had 17 left. As of December 2023 ChatGPT4 is using 40 for the limit, so if this is programmed for 50 that might be the issue. Thought I could consider 10 as my zero, but there still an unexplainable odd number left and the times are different in Chatterclock and what ChatGPT is telling me. I'm giving 3 stars instead of 2 because it has potential and was easy to use. (Also, there was that whole Sam Altman issue...so things are a little wonky.)
