Single Capture Mode
Enter your Test Case ID, click Capture (or press Ctrl+Shift+S), and the screenshot downloads instantly as a named PNG — no session needed.
Session Mode
Start a session, capture as many screenshots as you need across any tabs, then click End & Download. AutoEvidence compiles every screenshot into a clean, professionally formatted PDF evidence report automatically.

Every report includes:
• A cover page with your Test Case ID, date, total steps captured, company name, and project name
• Your company logo on the cover page and on every screenshot page
• One screenshot per page — correctly sized to fill the page with no wasted space
• A header on each page showing the step number, project name, timestamp, and page URL
• A footer on every page with the Test Case ID, company name, and page number
• Automatic page orientation — landscape screenshots get landscape pages, portrait gets portrait

AutoEvidence captures only the visible area of your active browser tab, and only when you explicitly press the capture button or keyboard shortcut. No screenshots are ever uploaded, shared, or stored outside your local browser storage. All data is cleared automatically when a session ends and the PDF has been downloaded.
Permissions used:
• activeTab — to capture the current tab screenshot
• downloads — to save screenshots and PDF reports to your computer
• storage — to hold session data temporarily while a session is running
• notifications — to confirm when a screenshot has been captured
• commands — to enable the Ctrl+Shift+S keyboard shortcut
