#Usage
1. Add Apps to Chrome
2. Open chrome://extensions/shortcuts
3. Find out “Block Ctrl W”
4. Click the Edit button
5. Press Ctrl & W button at the same time

- you just have to press them at the exact same time on the same exact frame and don't hold one of them before you press the other it works

- It does work but the instructions are not clear. You have to install this extension, go to the Manage Extensions page on the Extensions menu. On the left side of that page, there are My Extensions and Keyboard Shortcuts (select this). Then find the "Block Ctrl W" extension in the list, click on the pen icon and then press Ctrl + W on your keyboard. You're done :) The extension itself probably does nothing but by assigning Ctrl + W to the extension, it stops Chrome closing the tab.

- Guys you are doing it wrong. its not ment to block it, but you can reassign the shortcut to this extension and the extension does nothing so it does nothing

- works it was a bit finicky to get working. when binding I had to press W first then ctrl, then kinda spam W with ctrl held, and after that it got properly binded. I just downloaded it and its working so far. took less than a minute to do. So dumb that you need an extension to unbind an annoying shortcut though.

- you cant block Ctrl and w because when you go to input the command in editing, you HAVE to press Ctrl W which will then CLOSE THE TAB you have opened to block Ctrl w
