not hiding anything... everything on homepage is still there, recommended sidebar is still there, possibly because of the new layout?
O Youtube Control Center é uma opção melhor, porem essa extensão é capaz de remover as recomendações da tela inicial. Em contrapartida ela só funciona no Layout Antigo do Youtube.

It will be perfect if the comment sections of the video can also be blocked. Otherwise, this extension is a god-sent gift

Great extension. Does exactly what it's supposed to do. Only way it could be better was if it had some sort of overlay to block the suggestions that popup in the player itself after a video is finished.
Exactly what I was looking for! :) Now, I can work without any distraction!
