  • (2025-06-10) osirisgothra (osirisgothra): Unfortunately, doesn't work for my needs. I wanted to pause a certain devtools blocking script on a third-party CSS style I was working with in Stylus. The problem is that Stylus seems to 'hijack' the script injection for itself thus disabling Scripty completely. You can turn off injection, but on the particular few sites I am working with, this is not an option as the script must be injected before other scripts run and change the environment. I am not sure whether to chalk this up as a problem with Stylus, Scripty, or just plain old bad luck. Nor can I really blame either. My best advice is maybe the two of you could get together and discuss a way to let both extensions co-exist when it comes to injection -- but I know it is easier said than done.
  • (2025-05-29) Paul Coughlin: Works very well. It is much easier to use than TamperMonkey. Did exactly what I needed.
  • (2025-04-25) Jeebus Chripes: Great extension but now the tab opens up in every profile where I use the extension, every time I open Chrome. It's a bit much. It would be great if the dialog that opens when I click the extension icon would contain a list of quick actions I could run in the current window, not just when a URL pattern matches.
  • (2025-04-10) Susanna Celso: Works for me
  • (2025-03-13) Ondrej Vávra: Hey man, what tf is it with the update? You managed to make it near impossible to intuitively create match patterns... not cool. Also the script engine is suddenly very strict and a missing semicolon at the end of a line renders whole script non functional.

  • (2025-03-11) Simon Susina: Outstanding extension—a real time-saver! The developer is highly responsive and friendly. Highly recommended!
  • (2025-03-11) Ninja: Updated my review, Confirmed the new update does work thanks
  • (2025-03-11) James Rennie: Was using this extension to inject simple code into a website, now it will not inject a simple alert as it returns the error "not a script". just to clarify I updated my code in the newest version, even created a new one from scratch.
  • (2025-01-03) Fredrik Wendt: This was a simple solution to adding JavaScript to some specific sites, either run automatically or manually. However, it is now disabled because it doesn't comply with the standards required by Chrome Web Store.
  • (2024-12-21) Rui Calsaverini: So, basically a bunch of ads.
  • (2024-08-11) James B: useless - the script editor becomes stuck - either that or you cannot close the script editor window. A whole bunch of default scripts loaded in. soon to be removed from chrome webstore for apps - no wonder. don't download its nonsense app that doesn't even specify/describe how it intends to preserve privacy per disclaimer at bottom of page.
  • (2024-06-15) Mero: Handy
  • (2024-06-01) lawrence d'Aniello: It would be ideal if the extension supported distinct user profiles, allowing for the execution of multiple scripts on different websites. This feature would add significant value compared to other userscript managers, as none currently offer this functionality.
  • (2024-05-28) Ahmed Said: Not sure how it got this high of a rating. It literally does not recognise simple regex patters that worked on every other js injector extension and never shows any scripts as being available to run on any given page. Clicking any buttons through the toolbar part of the extension does absolutely nothing and there are no error messages to even begin figuring out what is wrong. 2 stars for the extension at least looking visually appealing.
  • (2024-04-22) G C: Can't give other thing than FIVE big stars to this awesome extension. Congratulations!
  • (2024-03-09) Rafa: It just works, congratulations! I suggest: 1-I have to click twice for the extension to be displayed, the default for other extensions is to click just once to be displayed; 2-When executing a script, the play icon should change to a pause or stop icon and there is no visual feedback that the script has started. 3-The script editing window is very small, I wish it was wider.
  • (2024-02-22) SORE THUMB DEV: Great extension for simple automated testing and/or "fixing" pages that have some little annoying design pattern. I have been rocking my own build of that old "jsshell" extension for some time now, but this is turned out to be a great replacement. I just wish the scripts would sync between browsers where I'm signed in with the same account, via Google Account storage API - or even GitHub, like the "Snippets" extension. I don't understand the point of logging in if there's no sync'ing of scripts. Is there no other reason than publishing to "the store"?
  • (2024-01-07) Arfanur Rahman: Just wow, Thanks
  • (2023-12-13) Robert Vicol: Simple and effective. No more is needed. As an improvement: Display in the menu when the right button is pressed (contextual menu), useful when you want to manually activate a script.

  • (2023-07-05) Alex: Super helpful extension, it would be nice if the edit window could be expanded a little, it's very small

  • (2023-04-27) sonic playground: 10/10, to some people who haven't downloaded yet and want to know things about it, here is a list of its features: The ability to save Javascript scripts The ability to download other's javascript scripts The ability to publish your own javascript scripts And obviously the ability to run javascript The ability to make the script run automatically on a website you choose it to The ability to name scripts and to load any scripts at any time If you have a problem injecting scripts just know this is not for Roblox, it is for javascript. Number 1 reason to get this is because you can pretty much create your own google plugin with this.

  • (2022-06-23) Vipul Priyadarshi: I was able to make them work by modifying the code! Is there any option to execute the script when page is half loaded? Other than On Page Load and Before Page Load? Because sometimes the page takes longer to load... BTW, I my script didn't work for Before Page Load as it has to find a specific class on that page in order to execute? Can you given me an example script that works with Before Page Load?? Thanks a lot

  • (2022-02-01) Ondrej Vávra: It's fine, however, there is one hiccup. I use this extension to inject scripts into our corporate intranet pages, but sometimes, rarely, when there is no internet connection, the extension stops working because it rellies on it. Aren't the scripts stored locally? EDIT: ok, maybe it was some weird coincidence, changing the rating to 5 stars :) However, there's another thing - I recently installed quite a few desktops and on all of them I'd like to use this extension with predefined scripts. Is there some easy way to synchronize scripts among all of the computers? I'm logged into my google account in the extension, but that doesn't seem to do anything.

  • (2021-09-12) Herom 123: It looks modern and there is regex for urls so i liked it.. But there is important thing that i need, you can't access top[0] variables :T So i take one star down because of that. Other things are good.

  • (2021-08-29) Laurent Chervet (Psychokiller1888): This extension rocks! I love the fact we can chose when the script is loaded. I love the share script function and the store. I'm REALLY missing an "Update store released script". There's no way for me to update scripts I have pushed to Scripty store? I'm creating a suite of useful scripts for the Hotel backend software called "Amenitiz", but the further I go, the more I find, the more the scripts get updated.... Only on my machine... EDIT Found out how to update the scripts: - Top right from scripty homepage, logout - CTRL+F5 to empty the cache - Log back in - Publish Script list should be loaded with all your scripts even those already published - Re publishing a script, doesn't duplicate, but overwrites the existing one under your name

  • (2021-08-28) _XCI: good extension. But, it will be better to have a simple way to make one script work on multiple urls. I hope I can use "url" "contain" mode and add multiple urls separated by comma or simply in multi-line. It should be very convenient.
