ZIP Extractor allows you to unzip (extract or decompress) files in Google Drive.
* The ZIP file can come from your computer or from Google Drive.
* You can choose which files in the ZIP file to extract.
* You can preview and download individual items inside the ZIP file without having to extract the whole file
* After extracting the ZIP file, you can share the extracted files with others
* ZIP Extractor supports password-protected files

- A bit pointless! I needed an unzipper to expand a driver archive on Chromium. So thought I'd try this. It opened the archive without a problem but insisted on having my google account details before it would work. After sharing them with it (I wasn't happy), it loaded the unpacked archive into Google. So I then had to download the archive from google drive (there isn't a google drive client for chromium). Then Google only zips up the data before downloading it. A total waste of my time.

- It's essentially extracting into my pc then uploading files one by one very slow and suboptimal for large files I want it to be done locally relative to the cloud, if I wanted to upload files I'd get Winrar then extract and upload to google drive.

- This just downloads the zip to your pc, unzips, then reuploads it...completely useless.

- Its noob because it takes 1 hour to extract a 100 MB file its better to download it and extract it

- Do not download this! It's a malware that cannot be uninstalled. It duplicates itself and corrupts and files imported in it. Once one file has been corrupted, it sends it back to your files so it can spread the "Disease" to your other files which eventually leads to your computer getting fried.

- The app works great, and it's quite fast. Everyone who says they can extract from their computer hasn't tried a school-issued Chromebook. Those can't unzip files, so this is perfect.

- I have been using Zip Extractor for many years and it works great for me! I hated to read the reviews from others stating that they are having issues. I am now curious as to how the app may/may not differ from the website. If there is no difference or no reasoning to take up space in my computer then I would much prefer to uninstall the app and just use the website. Great food for thought though and something I will definitely be researching so I am sure to learn something new! Until then, I love the app and will continue to use it.
