Papeeria is a collaborative online LaTeX editor. It is free, and it runs everywhere, on desktops, iOS and Android, on most of the modern browsers.
What comes with Papeeria:
== LaTeX editor ==
LaTeX is already installed and configured on our servers. Just write your LaTeX documents in the editor with syntax highlighting, spellchecker and word completion and compile it to PDF. Use one of our templates to create new documents quickly.
== Collaborative work ==
Share documents with your colleagues and work together, in read-write mode.
== Reliabilty ==
Papeeria has been in production since Feb 2013 and has already compiled thousands of documents with just a couple of minor outages. We replicate data, we do backups and restores, and our monitoring sends us alerts should anything go wrong.
== Free plan for beginners ==
Our free pricing plan is a good start. No credit card required. Other pricing plans are very affordable.
== Lock-in is NOT included! ==
You can download your projects as ZIP archive at any time and continue working offline with your local TeX distro.

- (2023-02-03) Gregory Kalabin: Still works perfectly in 2023!
- (2018-09-07) Martin Napetschnig: A very nice editor. I am using it for writting my master thesis with a lot of pictures and subfiles and it is compiling quite fast - The subfiles as well as the entire document. There have been very small issues in compiling some subfiles and after I wrote an email to the support team they fixed it in less than 24h! Perfect service. I highly recommend this editor!
- (2016-02-07) Kirill Nikolskiy: Very nice application for my diplom work! Great service!
- (2015-06-05) Sergey Morozov: I've been using Papeeria for 1 year and a half. My coursework and Bachelor’s thesis were written here. I like Papeeria because of it's latex templates, the ease of use and continuous improvements in the service (and new features). P.S. I have never ever had any problems with Papeeria and never observed any bugs. Thank you for the great service!
- (2015-04-06) Anton Alekseev: I've realized I've used Papeeria for several years now, wow. Which means writing a coursework, a CV (thanks for the suggested template, BTW), a couple of papers and several presentations. 0. Papeeria looks cool. Like, IntelliJ-IDEA in the world of online latex editors :) 1. In some classrooms at University there are Windows-only machines with restrictions on what you can install. When you suddenly notice your marvellous presentation has an error in a formula or a stupid mistake in the title of the slide, you're screwed. Unless you can open and compile your slides in a browser, checking the result. 2. What is also impressive, Papeeria guys react to any sort of feedback (bugs or whatever) immediately. 3. There are templates for various use cases, which makes LaTeX learning curve less steep, judging by me and my friends. I can't say anything about docs sharing feature, because my colleagues preferred collaboration via printed paper :( The trouble with online editors like this one is that there is just one window for markup and output, which is, like, not convenient. The new double-screen feature seems to solve the problem, so I'll give it a try the next time I decide to write something beautiful. Many thanks to the developers, sometimes I envy your working on a cool tool like this :) Looking forward to new updates.
- (2014-11-07) tarcisio antonio hess coelho: In my opinion, the online software works fine in terms of ist main purpose. It is easy to upload tex and eps files, the viewer shows the compiled file in different zoom views and, additional, it converts the final project into a pdf file. I have been using it for two months. I was able to write technical articles and no problem occurred.
- (2014-08-28) Petr Miroshnikov: Great! No more headache with LaTex. Everything works perfect and available as soon as you need it!
- (2014-07-20) Ola: Pros: 1. service in a cloud: - tablet latex - access from everywhere - collaboration - no installation problems; 2. latex templates; 3. good user experience; 4. good technical support: all my relevant feature requests are closed. Cons: 1. a few customization limits (in free version at least), however it is quite expected; 2. some problems with spellcheckers. App is very convenient for my purposes. Strongly recommended.
- (2014-07-19) I found Papeeria very useful in the academic environment for preparation of collaborative papers with colleagues and students. No more emailing paper sources back and forth, no worries about missing LaTeX packages or inconsistencies between, say, Windows and Linux LaTeX distributions. Papeeria provides a solid and universal framework for worries-free collaborative editing of LaTeX documents. Furthermore, Papeeria is being actively developed with new helpful features appearing on a regular basis and has a prompt technical support. Way to go!
- (2014-05-19) Mikhail Dvorkin: Very convenient! Installing LaTex on every computer I want to compile documents would be a torture. Papeeria is the exact solution!
- (2014-04-17) Iakov Kirilenko: This great application made lots of thesis and term work papers of our school significantly nicer. I especially appreciate helpful styles implemented by Paperia team and strongly recommend to give this product a try.
