Solution Options:
1) We can of course use alternative search engines (like yahoo, duckduckgo), but they either lack relevant results or fall back on the best search engines with the biggest index - Google and Bing (as the runner up).
2) Use ublockOrigin devFilter (with a very nice https://letsblock.it/filters/search-results configuration helper) - but we still find it is a bit too complicated for most non technical users.
3) use Google as it has the biggest index but prefix search query with `site:reddit.com` or `site:news.ycombinator.com` or simply adding ‘reddit’ to the search query.
OR
use Search Tweaker. As it allows you to use google as the search engine which is the option 3 above, so has the biggest index and just enables the Option 3 for you automatically.
