Easily block websites of your choice!

Description from store Block Site is a browser extension to help you block desired websites (domains). To work with this addon, simply right-click on any webpage and then click on the "Block this website" via the context-menu item. The website's domain address will be added to the block list (see options page). Please note, the whole domain will be added to the block list, not just a URL. To change this list, open the options page, remove the desired item, or add a new one. For any blocked domain, you can add a redirect URL on the options page. To do so, please first add a domain to the blocked list, and then add a redirect URL in the second column (as shown in the last screenshot). Now, instead of blocking a domain, the website will be redirected to the redirect URL. There is also an option to block desired iframes. To do so, please add the URL (for the iframe) in the designated area on the options page (top section). To report bugs, please visit the addon's homepage (https://mybrowseraddon.com/block-site.html) and fill out the bug report form.

(2025-05-11) devin: Excellent extenstion: Not only does it allow you to easily block sites, but it lets you redirect to other sites as well. I'm not certain whether or not there is password protection if you're looking to block sites for other users. Haven't looked into too much as I'm the only one who uses this computer.
(2024-08-10) Drack: ITS PERFECT: so far it is the only blocker able to complete my goals out of all the blockers with thousands of reviews this is the only one to both block the site and its sub sites and not flash the site in my face before blocking it each time on load my only request is to be able to click the addon in the extensions menu and press block/unblock site for ease of use and with that addition it has no flaw that i have noticed yet. i wish you and your extension the best of luck as at this time i am the only reviewer please keep updating this and don't give up
(2020-07-15) Jens: The app does what it is supposed to do. Especially nice is that no personal data is collected according to the privacy policy. The setup is simple partly because there are no special features like a schedule for blocking.
