- From what I understand, the extension only reveals things you send to others, not vice versa. I'm testing several photos and none of them open; I just get a warning telling me to open them on my phone, but they don't open them on WhatsApp Web.

- Update: No longer works Original: the extension works, but it has a downside: it injects some unauthorized pages into Google search results. This is a shady practice, so I can't recommend using it. As a workaround, You can ensure the extension only has permission to access the URL https://web.whatsapp.com/.
