Esta extensión se utiliza con classroom.cloud.
classroom.cloud proporciona una serie de sencillas pero eficaces herramientas de enseñanza y de protección del alumnado/seguridad en línea basadas en la nube, que ayudan a facilitar unas experiencias didácticas interesantes y significativas para los estudiantes en un entorno online seguro, independientemente de la ubicación física de usted y de sus estudiantes.
La extensión del estudiante puede instalarla fácilmente el personal informático en las cuentas de Google administradas por la escuela, para que pueda conectarse de forma instantánea y segura a los dispositivos Chrome OS de los alumnos desde el portal del profesor classroom.cloud al principio de la lección.
FUNCIONES PRINCIPALES:
GESTIÓN DEL AULA:
Supervise fácilmente las pantallas de los estudiantes mediante nítidas miniaturas. Puede incluso hacer zoom para ver en más detalle la actividad del dispositivo de un estudiante concreto.
Transmita su pantalla y mensajes de audio a los dispositivos de los estudiantes conectados, para enseñarles o explicarles el contenido y las actividades de la lección.
Deje en blanco o bloquee las pantallas de los estudiantes con un solo clic para hacer que atiendan.
Obtener los nombres de los estudiantes
Hágase una idea de la comprensión por parte de los alumnos de un tema que acaba de enseñarles, enviándoles una breve encuesta a la que deben responder.
Muestre a los alumnos los objetivos generales de la lección y sus resultados de aprendizaje previstos.
Empiece una sesión de chat, envíe un mensaje, y preste apoyo a sus estudiantes mediante las solicitudes de ayuda; y todo eso sin que se enteren los demás alumnos.
El profesor puede silenciar el audio de la ventana activa del explorador en los dispositivos del estudiante
Reconozca a los alumnos el trabajo bien hecho concediéndoles premios virtuales.
Envíe un mensaje o instrucciones que exigen atención al dispositivo de cada estudiante para ayudarles a mantener la concentración.
Elija qué sitios web pueden ver y cuáles no, o bloquee el acceso a todos los sitios web. Vea detalles de los sitios web que están viendo los estudiantes en esos momentos para comprobar que estén concentrados en la tarea correspondiente.
Ahorre un montón de tiempo y aproveche mejor el tiempo de clase abriendo un sitio web directamente en los dispositivos de los estudiantes.
PROTECCIÓN DEL ALUMNADO (SEGURIDAD EN LÍNEA)
Supervisión de palabras y frases clave:
La herramienta de Protección del alumnado/Seguridad en línea le ayuda a proteger a los estudiantes contra el contacto con contenidos online inapropiados. Alerta al personal cuando los estudiantes escriben o buscan términos que coinciden con los de la base de datos de palabras clave de classroom.cloud, y proporciona indicadores de protección del alumnado y de seguridad en Internet relacionados con la autolesión, el acoso escolar, la explotación sexual y criminal de menores, y mucho más. (Las herramientas de Protección del alumnado se pueden utilizar de forma gratuita durante todo el período de evaluación, y son un extra opcional que se puede adquirir al comprar classroom.cloud).
Notificación de posibles problemas:
Mediante el botón Protección del alumnado/Seguridad en línea de su dispositivo, los estudiantes pueden notificar posibles problemas a un empleado de su confianza mediante la opción "Notificar posible problema".
HERRAMIENTAS DEL TÉCNICO
La herramienta de Inventario proporciona al equipo informático de la escuela todas las herramientas que necesita para prestar un soporte proactivo, y le permite obtener una vista en tiempo real del hardware y el software instalados en cada dispositivo del estudiante.
Este componente también ofrece a los estudiantes que se sientan vulnerables acceso instantáneo a una lista de recursos en línea relevantes, por si desean ayuda externa con un problema o inquietud específicos. El personal puede también gestionar la lista predefinida en el portal web de classroom.cloud, y añadir todas las opciones que juzguen oportunas.
