  • (2025-01-06) Beth Marohn: Well, this is NOT the Norton so-called "protection" I paid for. It protects from me getting on the websites that I know are safe and delays access to average sites like my Facebook and Pinterest pages. I have to refresh those pages a couple times before it lets me on. Not to mention that it tells me I have issues that I need addressed after it scans, BUT for an ADDITIONAL fee above what I already paid for, will it be fixed. I chose this all because McAfee was literally spamming me with renewing their protection.
  • (2024-12-31) Colin Stew: It would not download the extension. After reading the multiple negative reviews, I am quite happy it just spun its wheels.
  • (2024-12-02) Rose Capone: I am not happy with Norton search at all. This is a scam to buy more and can't get into the sites I know for sure are safe. All they want is more money. Going back McFree
  • (2024-11-27) Marie Barth: What's going on with my Norton Safe Search? The first few sites are not safe at all. Sites that are safe that I usually use are not marked as safe sites. Am I wasting my money? It sounds like I have the same issues as the reviews below.
  • (2024-11-25) J Brandon Marsh: mine not working at all.
  • (2024-11-24) Igor Pavlenko: not relative search at all. 5 first results are ADs. Shame on Norton, its paid version
  • (2024-11-23) Harald Norberg: Norton used to be a serious operator but all this bs is really annoying. Shame on you to destroy a great product, but ... what can you expect? Why wouldn't Peters Principle be applicable to Norton?
  • (2024-11-22) a.k. SHARMA: WORST TO USE
  • (2024-11-17) Andi f: why o why do i have to keep installing norton extension i did not have this problem with McAfee you install it once and that's it not with norton what was BT thinking off
  • (2024-11-13) Eren N.: This replaced Norton Safe Web, which worked with all search engines (Google, Yahoo, Bing, etc.). Now, Norton made it so its safe or not safe warning ONLY shows up on their own engine, which is not as good as the more well-known search engines.
  • (2024-11-12) Alfredo Vecchiosilvi: Now I have to use the Safe Search engine to enable Safe Web? Thanks for zip, Norton. One more hoop to jump through. And thanks for changing my Chrome shortcuts. I'm deleting Safe Search and Safe Web.
  • (2024-11-12) dan orton: Is this a joke? The old system worked better than this. I don't wanna use your garbage search engine.
  • (2024-11-12) Gary Schmitz: Already installed. Pop up keeps appearing to install it.
  • (2024-11-11) Bob Wherry: The search engine does not provide coverage that is anywhere near that provided by google, I have to go to google after Norton safe search to get decent coverage of the subjects I search! Further Norton says it will no longer provide guidance as to the safety of a site unless you use their search engine. I pay a substantial annual fee for Norton and they risk losing customers when they cut service to my extreme disappointment. I plan to cancel my Norton account when it comes up for renewal if Norton does not change its attitude,

  • (2024-11-11) Chris Neville: This used to be a nice extension to use, but now they say I have to "Change your search settings to: searchsafe.norton.com" to be able to use the extension! Why? Why can't I use Bing, Google, Yahoo or any other search engines and get the same reviews on whether a site is safe or not? If you're gonna give such reviews via such an extension, then they should work on all search engines! Was there a need to change the way the extension worked before?
  • (2024-11-05) Eileen Booth: i am also in the catagory where i am challenged by my age and tech,, your right they don't make easy...
  • (2024-10-30) david kring: I'm old and not tech savvy. I find doing all online confusing. I'm afraid if I click on something it will cost me more than what I'm paying now. The updates are also confusing.
  • (2024-10-26) Bruce Singletary: Been a Norton subscriber with Lifelock for several years without any, zero, zilch, nada problem of any kind. No bugs, hacks, or any other nefarious activity occurred during my subscription periods. Are the annual renewal subscriptions a bit pricey, sure are. No argument about that from me. You get what you pay for. My peace of mind is worth the price of subscription.
  • (2024-09-30) Metropolitan Archbishop Rev. Dr. Earl Frazier, D.D.: "tHESE SERIES OF EXTENSIONS ARE FULL OF BUGS, PROVIDE INACURATE AND MISLEADING NOTICES AND RESULTS, AND I HAVE DISABLED THESE BECAUSE OF THE PROBLEMS. SHOULD BE OPTIONAL, NOT REQUIRED BY NORTON WHEN I START COMPUTER AND LOGIN. EXTENSIONS ARE FOR GOOGLE CHROME.
  • (2024-09-29) Jeffrey Solomon: I had some issues with Norton in the past. I got a phone call from them and the issue was rectified. I've used Norton for years. I've had Lifelock for a while too. I have never experienced anyone hacking my information OR hacking into my systems. When I open an account, I get an imediate alert that my credit was checked. I've read some 1 star reviews. However, I don't have the same experiences.
  • (2024-09-27) EK Poole: Norton is terrible and trying to reach technical support requires multiple calls and lots of bad connections. I had to uninstall Norton resolve a problem. In re-installing, Norton advising of "conflicting" program and offers a button to remove them before the reinstall. Upon hitting the uninstall, all 144 applications appear on my laptop without a single one being identified as the "conflict"....Norton is a terrible product with even worse support.
  • (2024-09-26) Helen Rymer: The problem that we have is that I cancelled my account to add it to my husbands account and actually rang their IT team and they said its all fixed now. I still get up sell notifications and also telling me Im not protected. It drives me insane every time I turn on my laptop. Then I start to worry that Im not protected even though I waste 30 mins going into nortons app to chck that it is protected ,once I get in to my account it starts again telling me to suscribe. arghhhhh
  • (2024-09-23) Fozzie Corcoran: Your services is not worthy of one star setting this up this year has giving me no end of stress despite enter the product code and following all on screen instruction and updating app when login still not showing i am protect so keep repeating setup and always trying to con money out of you with auto renewal or other services i am sick to death with this i know how to turn of auto renewal but i what to set this up easily without Norton turning to give me a heart attack. I WILL NOT BE USING THIS NEXT YEAR NORTON I.E. SET UP IS EASY WELL CONTACT ME NORTON A HUMAN WOULD BE NICE YOU HAVE MY NUMBER.
  • (2024-09-22) Monica Vacas: I agree, at one time i was spending over $350 per year on double protection because every time Norton sent me a warning that I was not protected I would buy. Finally I called tech support and they were able to identify that I had 2 of the same accounts and double protected yet my credit card kept getting charged.
  • (2024-09-20) Vance Porfirio: Over promising and under delivering in my opinion. Customer service is truly lacking and their virtual assistant is poor at this time all my opinion. Too many cracks in their performance and I agree with others they are trying to nicke and dime you to death. If I wanted to spend my time doing Norton's job I would not use their services. When my soon to end contract expires I will l will be a former customer.
  • (2024-09-19) Bob McCann: Every time I get on the computer Norton wants me to spend more money for SOME kind of protection !!
  • (2024-09-15) Bob Conway: You have become way too expensive for the service provided. I am looking for an alternative.
  • (2024-09-08) Delfina Delfim: nice anti virus software, easy to work!
  • (2024-09-04) Helen Li-Wong: If possible, I rather give out 0 star to this service!! Completely useless!
  • (2024-09-04) Bernie Weitekamp: it is not doing a thing. I keep getting interrupts from McFee about viruses that Norton should have taken care off. every time I turn around I'm getting an upsell for some new scare. I wonder if Norton 360 is worth anything
  • (2024-08-28) Ruth Bouvier: I totally agree with the above posts. I purchased additional protection and now I received message to re-purchase the same protection. Too much pressure from them to "upgrade" my protection because there are frightening possibilities out there. I am terminating Norton at the end of my subscription. There has to be a better company than Norton.
  • (2024-08-26) Stephen Shrader: Our internet provider is a wholly owned subsidiary of our electricity co-op. Sharing your frustrations, today I finally reached out to Rock Island for advice, and they have a team who will help our non-profit sort it out for an hourly fee. Much more comfortable for me.
  • (2024-08-25) Jake K: Norton is constantly asking me to upgrade or add on this or that. I have been a customer for several years but this is my issue with them. Also at every renewal, I need to contact them about prices that are ridiculous for the current customers and half the price or less at Staples or Office supply stores.
  • (2024-08-25) Tad McCall: I just read two reviews that captured my frustration with Norton. Norton's constant upsale and scare tactics. And not being able to get any help from the Norton organization most of the time. That is my experience as well. I like core Norton which I consider its protection from bad actors and its password manager and its Utilities. I hate its browser and its search. Norton asks to have all extensions installed, but they have some inferior extension--not all but some
  • (2024-08-25) chris smith: It is ok until you have a problem. Trying to solve a problem is a nightmare. Every time I turn on my VPN my internet connection is turned off. The on line advice is no use and it became impossible to contact anyone at Norton to help me with this. Could not email them or phone them and although they said they would phone me back they never bothered . Very poor customer support.
  • (2024-08-25) Bruce Bennett: It really sucks having to pay for add-ons that they scare you into buying. Extortion!!
  • (2024-08-25) Robert Webb: I don't see what I am paying for. I have to pay for additional services with my bill total being well over $300. If this ala Carte service continues I won't continue
  • (2024-08-24) Marlon Green: I paid about $300,forNortons Ultimate protection for 1 year. And still got pop-ups saying i needed to RENEW the same portection.it is disappointing.
