Journalist is an HTML5 app designed to allow for simple editing of text with a non-cluttered interface. There are no accounts that need to be created -- all of your data is kept and stored inside your web browser.
Journalist is made possible primarily through AngularJS, PouchDBbut also relies on Marked for the formatting support, and the angular pouchdb module provided by wspringer.
The metro design is fueled by the Metro UI CSS project.
Features:
* Markdown formatting, with examples included in a guide to the syntax.
* Built around local storage -- your journal entries will never leave your web browser.
* ( new ): Tagging and searching is now available, and dates are now also stored in your journal entries.

- (2015-09-16) Daniel Cavalcanti: The interface could be more aligned and finished, but I like the simple idea of taking notes. Would be nice to have a bigger space for the writing itself and less for the preview of the note. Maybe a WYSIWYG editor would be more suitable in this case, since there are other great Markdown editors out there. Also, would like to export the notes to my computer (Can't trust Chrome 100%).
