Description from store
Nuke your Reddit history! Reddit won’t let you bulk delete your data so this extension lets you mass delete your Reddit comments and posts. It gives you 3 simple buttons — Delete comments, Delete posts, Delete both comments and posts — that automatically delete your Reddit content in one go.
After you install the extension, a screen with deletion options will appear. A confirmation screen is shown before the deleting process starts. Then just leave the browser tab open and let it work. Unlike a script, it deletes everything automatically.
By default, there is a limit of 50 deletions per day. For a small one-time payment that buys lifetime access to the extension on any browser, you can delete without any limits. This is to make the extension worthwhile to update and maintain. Some people don’t realize the amount of work that goes into extensions and think everything should be free. Making good extensions is hard work and requires compensation! We hope you'll understand. 🥺
Note: this extension does not read, store, or transmit your Reddit or other browsing data in any form. The extension needs permission to access extensionpay.com to manage your paid features, but no information is shared with this site.

Edge version: https://microsoftedge.microsoft.com/addons/detail/bulk-delete-reddit-posts-/aadcpdagapcmcpjainhaejocmlpjniid
Changelog:
v3.6: Reddit changed messages so now the message deletion feature no longer fully works. Removed the button for it.
v3.5: Added a button for deleting "overview" items due to a report that on some accounts Reddit still shows items there.
v3.4 and v3.3: Added more obvious buttons for deleting “Top” and “Controversial” comments to reduce confusion and help people make sure everything is deleted.
v3.2: This version adds a fix for Chrome v130 which introduced a bug causing the extension not to work at all.
v3.1: Small rate limit tweaks to prevent 429 errors from Reddit. Let me know if you’re still getting them.
v3.0: Even more robust rate limit (aka 429) detection and avoidance (mostly for users with very fast internet connections).
v2.9: Increased time between deleting to hopefully fix 429 errors some users are seeing temporarily.
v2.8: Fixed bug where extension wouldn’t re-open automatically after payment.
v2.7: Fix a bug where payment page didn’t open properly and opened a 404 page instead.
v2.6: Upgrade payment page to allow more payment methods, more secure checkout with Stripe.
v2.5: More secure deletion method.
v2.4: Fixed a bug in Firefox that caused paid functionality not to work.
v2.3: Added links to delete “top” and “controversial” posts after “all” posts are deleted because Reddit treats these differently for some reason.
v2.2: Added “Delete messages” button that deletes all messages you’ve received.
v2.1: Added support for deleting “controversial” comments, which Reddit separates from “all” comments for some reason.
v2.0: Minor text change to make things clearer.
v1.9: Fixed an error introduced in v1.8 that only deleted “top” comments and not “all”. Now, by default, “all” comments are deleted first and after that there’s a button that can open the “top” comments page for further deletion.
v1.8: Finally fixed a bug that a small number of users were getting where “top” comments weren’t being deleted. Now all comments should be deleted correctly for all users.
v1.6-1.7: Minor improvements to usability, including a bug which caused the extension to open unexpectedly after updates.
v1.5: Fixed a bug for Firefox that caused the extension to not work after paying. Also network errors are now detected.
v1.2-1.4: After payment, the extension will now refresh immediately to show you’ve paid.
v1.1: Fixed a bug that halted deletion after just one page. Now all comments and posts are deleted fully without needing to restart the process.
Please consider leaving a review! Many reviewers try the extension once, there's a bug, they leave a bad review, the extension is fixed in response, and then they never update their review, leaving other potential users with a mistaken impression. Your review would help correct this which would help many people, including me. There are a lot of haters out there! Be a lover instead! Thanks!

- (2025-06-23) Soňa J.: It worked and saved me a lot of time. I purchased the paid version and it worked. However there is no possibility to filter. You cannot delete comments that are older than 1 month or similar. It is all or nothing. And it was ....not easy to turn it on after it was interrupted (turned off the computer), but I eventually managed to do it.
- (2025-06-03) S: it deletes a few comments and tell me that it deleted 50
- (2025-05-06) John Cronin: Great app does what says on the tin.10 bucks well spent 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🤌
- (2025-04-25) Cyby API: Sucks its 10$ for just a macro, someone could make this in 20 minutes, Please make this free and i will use it a lot
- (2025-04-10) Greg Johnson: Awful extension. It basically forces you to pay for it after you use it for 50 comments. Absolutely useless. Chrome provides this free and open source software and you in turn use that to leverage a paid extension to delete comments?
- (2025-04-05) Bryan Rocker: I used Reddit for over 9 years. Reddit banned me for speaking frankly and honestly but the left leaning community went after me and Reddit finally banned me for life. I started the painstaking task of removing 9 years of history and asked my wife for some suggestions. This one came up and I tried it and it deleted 50 posts in under a minute. I opted to pay the $10 fee to have the rest of the posts. It worked like a champ, deleting every post. I consider the $10 well spent because it saved me days/weeks of work that I could be doing something more productive. Thanks for the well written and clean interface. I HIGHLY recommend this to anyone needing to clean up their history. PS If you look at other ones like Shreddit, it is part of the core of Reddit so you decide what you want to do.....
- (2025-04-04) scurry away: It works great. My issue may be with Reddit. Some of my comments come back. I run this extension every few weeks because I don't want it out there. I am not sure why these comments come back, but it is a false sense of security that you think it's clean. I understand how backups work, but I don't understand if the subreddits are going to the backups and 'refreshing' deleted comments or why a subset of comments seemingly return every few months. If I delete my profile would they comments never come back??
- (2025-03-31) Richard Matherson: Works great overall. Had one little bug with reddit's "overview" tab, but the extension still worked. After removing everything by clicking "delete all comments", "delete controversial", etc., I noticed I still had a lot of comments on my profile, but only visible from overview. Comments tab, plus all filter options, showed zero comments. I was able to delete the rest by changing the url from "comments?delete_all=" to "overview?delete_all=", so hopefully you can add that button for anyone else who encounters the overview thing.
- (2025-03-16) Aimie Coltelli: Not working for me anymore as of a few days ago (early March 2025) it will just instantly say that 50 posts/comments have been deleted even when I didn't even click anything to start it yet. It just simply won't delete anything anymore. But before this, it worked perfectly although I wish 50 wasn't the daily limit. 100 seems more fair, especially since people could have hundreds and hundreds of posts just in a few weeks.
- (2025-03-05) Mathew Woods: Looks like you guys are starting to be flagged as malicious by virus scanners. We blocked this dangerous page for your protection: https://glench-now.web.val.run/ Dangerous pages attempt to install software that can harm the device, gather personal information or operate without your consent.
- (2025-02-23) John Smith: kinda buggy
- (2025-02-16) Pete: Worked great. deleted all my comments, posts and messages.
- (2025-02-06) E Fox: 5 stars! Reddit has a maximum and a time limit put in place, but I was able to delete 1,000s of comments over 15 years in about an hour and a few clicks.
- (2025-01-31) Sam Barnes: works as advertised. paid for the license to be able to delete everything in one shot, took care of 11 years of account posts and comments in under a few hours. Would reccommend
- (2025-01-27) Fabiola Diaz: Fantastic. I wanted to remove a lot of old posts because they were kinda cringe. Worked.
- (2025-01-25) Jalanda M: Gosh, what a relief. That was the by far the simplest way to go. I paid the lifetime ($9.99) cost because it did 50 without a shred of effort on my part, and as I type this it is clearing out the last 10 years of posts. PHEW THANK-YOU DEV! I'll be sure to make one last post before I delete my Reddit account recommending this. So many other options were complicated to set up, this one seriously simple and user friendly. <3
- (2025-01-11) Eric Londono: Works real good
- (2024-12-21) Timothy Petlock: Works as advertised. The old reddit interface saying "there doesn't seem to be anything here" is a bit confusing and shouldn't be taken at face value until you've let it cycle through your top and controversial comments as well as just the regular ones. If you can see only controversial comments when you adjust the filter, choose delete all. The window will open to the regular comments view which might be empty. Let the plugin run there again, it can't harm anything and will give you the prompt to select controversial or top after it cycles through and sees nothing is there. You will need to start the plugin three or four times to purge all your comments. This thing absolutely works as described.
- (2024-12-20) JD: Works as advertised. Worth the $10.
- (2024-12-17) Jared Pace: Purchased the full version, however, the extension will not delete all of my comments. It says it's deleted them all, however, I can see comments of mine in the app.
- (2024-12-03) Alex Schagaev: The base version you install does not let you delete everything on one go, however the screenshot suggests you can...
- (2024-12-03) Linda Kirkpatrick: I use this often (for years) and was completely surprised when I logged into my account and still saw comments from 3 and 4 years ago. Not sure its working for all controversial, or even plain old comments. kinda disapointed because the browser shows me they are deleted but the comments in an app still show
- (2024-12-03) Christiana C: Pretty great! It helped me remove an old business with years of irrelevant commentary!
- (2024-11-30) Luto Sb: 10/10 i paid for the lifetime and everything went pretty well the only problem was the site were down like every 2-5 min but i recommend the product
- (2024-11-24) Alexis: Ask to pay after 50 deletion in a day. Useless extension... Also I'm interested to know why you'd need these informations : Bulk Delete Reddit Posts & Comments History handles the following: Personally identifiable information For example: name, address, email address, age or identification number Financial and payment information For example: transactions, credit card numbers, credit ratings, financial statements or payment history Pretty sketchy
- (2024-11-15) Carla Frese: Works exactly as advertised. Thanks!
- (2024-11-11) Christopher Simon: Works well enough for most comments. But doesn't actually find all the TOP comments. Some left when sorting by different times that the extension never manages to delete. Good potential but disappointing in the end.
- (2024-11-10) Muezick Sanus: Exceptional. Works. Easy to use. Compared to how long it takes to delete that many posts by hand, it's absolutely worth $10, which these days is the same price as a shitty cheeseburger. It's worth WAY more than a shitty cheeseburger!
- (2024-11-10) Bri “the dog” Guy: Asks you to pay for it or you can only delete 50 comments in a day. Fairly useless. There are free options out there. This is a waste.
- (2024-11-06) J Green: Worked perfect. I'd suggest the purchase if you have a long history like I did for the past 14 years. As it mentions, do not close the tab you are using to delete your posts, comments, messages, or it will throw an error. I suggest downloading your data first before deleting your information and then deleting your account if deletion is the route you are taking: https://www.reddit.com/settings/data-request
- (2024-10-24) Bryan Shannon (Gula): removing 50 per day is kinda cool, but also take my 3 star rating. i want to love it but i also dont want to pay, but i also understand, yet it wasnt always like this... knowutimean?
- (2024-10-15) Mike Biddle: Works perfectly, automatically pauses to avoid rate limiting.
- (2024-10-06) Nexxarian: Paid the $10 and it started deleting until it hit Reddit's rate limit after a couple minutes. Been waiting a lot longer than 10 minutes and it hasn't started deleting yet... I can still manually delete though, so it seems the extension isn't working?
- (2024-09-29) Mister Trizzle: Works perfectly but PLEASE give us the option to delete posts/comments older than a time frame that we can select so it doesn't delete the most recent posts.
- (2024-09-26) Peter Brülls: Wanted to delete my account and remove all the content I produced for Reddit. Since their wasn’t an obvious way to do this in Reddit itself and since I was fed up, I looked around, found this, tested it and then purchased. $10 is very reasonable and saved me a lot of time. Sure, it’s not instant, but it’s kinda fun watching the extension kill comment by comment. And after that it’ll be the posts. A bit down from here there’s a hint on how to program this to yourself. Sure, anyone who dabbled in JS and Chrome’s developer tool could build their own makeshift version and run it by hand. Me, I’m a reasonably well paid application developer with some backend experience and it’s literally not worth my time not spend a few bucks for the convenience. I just completed nixing four accounts, all their posts and comments, and all I invested were a couple of minutes logging in and calling the extension. Money well spent.
- (2024-09-22) Kevin C: Good program and works quick. No download needed, I would rather pay $10 for a safe extension than download some random program that requires admin over my PC to delete reddit comments lol
- (2024-09-12) Visa Master: App is just great. 10$ one time payment is not big amount for such stability and developer support. I find it absolutely worth the money.
- (2024-09-11) Mark P: I can't believe you're trying to charge money for what I wrote in 10 seconds: Array.from(document.querySelectorAll('a[data-event-action=delete]')).forEach(e => e.click());Array.from(document.querySelectorAll('a.yes')).forEach(a => a.click()); Save your money folks. Go to your comments page and just run that in dev tools a few times.
- (2024-09-10) Ad Na: Doesnt work properly, https://old.reddit.com/user/USERNAME/comments doesn't show all comments, and so the extension doesnt delete all comments. I just cleared my comments using this extension, and https://old.reddit.com/user/USERNAME/comments is empty, but https://www.reddit.com/user/USERNAME/comments still has a ton of of my 10+ year old comments
- (2024-08-18) c: i have paid money and used this extension a few times. but when i click on my reddit profile, i still see comments from more than 6 months ago. is there a limit to the time frame it will delete? if this can be fixed to delete ALL of my reddit history, five stars.
- (2024-08-11) Huntarr Dev: The money is well worth it. Just keep your license. Used on and off many times, never had an issue. They gotta eat too, but the fact they give you 50 even is helpful.
- (2024-08-10) buddhakid: It does do what it's intended to do, but I think it's important to read the extension description: You delete cap is 50 comments per day (24 hours), which for a simple extension is the only downside. Other than that, it executes your request fairly efficiently. Having a deletion cap could be frustrating but nothing much beyond that, the purchase or whatever is almost like a donation.
- (2024-08-08) Eric Frazer: Redact.dev is free, so I don't think I'll be paying for this; thanks though.
- (2024-08-07) Roland Bush-Cavell: Great product for tidying up. Totally reccomend.
- (2024-08-05) Joe Anderson: People complaining that the $9.99 is too much.... its a one-time fee. And this guy took the time to write the program... if you don't like it.. go make your own. What's that? You dont know how? Don't want to take the time to do it? Thought so. Thanks buddy.
- (2024-08-01) Clinton: $10 bucks well paid, simple app that automates deleting each post manually. It is slower than Redact.dev, but on par for the price.
- (2024-07-21) T: Terrible extension. 50 is the limit without them extorting you for money. There are other ways to do it for free. They won't get 1 penny from me that way.
- (2024-07-17) Patricia: Worth the money! Thanks. Sometimes I had to refresh the page or resume a few minutes later but this is WAY faster than manually removing comments and posts on your account.
- (2024-07-15) Carla G: Does exactly what it says. Update 7/15/24: Had occasion to contact support because I kept getting an error, and someone responded within the day. They later followed up to let me know they worked the issue, and are pushing an update. Extra points for a human being available and responsive!
- (2024-07-14) Chloe Wolman: Tried to use this again and got HTTP ERROR 429. super disappointed.
