Description from store This extension allows the CyberArk Password Vault Web Access to access a user’s clipboard. For security reasons, some browsers prevent programmatic access to the clipboard. This prevents CyberArk Password Vault Web Access users from being able to copy account content when needed. The CyberArk Password Vault Web Access Clipboard extension enables CyberArk Password Vault Web Access users to continue to copy and paste from the clipboard. Please note that clipboard content will be deleted after 25 seconds, or when the user signs out in order to make sure account content is not kept in the clipboard. This extension is supported in CyberArk Password Vault Web Access. Use of this extension is governed by the following license terms: https://www.cyberark.com/EULA.pdf. Please see the section describing free of charge software (“Free Trial or Beta Versions of the Software”).

  • (2024-07-01) Henok Z Mengistu: The system prevented me from resetting the password for World Solution. Unfortunately, the password recovery information failed due to multiple attempts. However, I find it confusing that despite this protection, the system still redirects me to the next page to request another password reset. It’s not ideal to repeatedly ask for the password on the wrong page. Once I’ve declared it safe, why does it continue to protect the link and prompt me to log in again? World Solution is a well-known company, and security should be robust.
  • (2024-01-11) Kevin Morris: It works as intended. Appreciate that this is in the Chrome Web Store. For those that are disconcerted that the extension clears the clipboard; if you limit the extension to your vault site and close the site once you have used your credential, the extension will immediately wipe the clipboard without waiting the 25 seconds.

  • (2021-03-25) Conn Fountain: This "feature" to clear the keyboard buffer is not very forward thinking. Users copy the passwords in to notepad or some other program instead of having to go back to cyber-ark. You think you are protecting oru security and likely are just making it worse. Please be forward thinking and give us the ability to control the clearing. ##Very aggravaiting ##time wasting / ##less security in the end/ ##poor design.

  • (2020-04-06) Jonathan Davis: The extension frequently stops working. As in, I click copy in PVWA, but the password is not placed into Clipboard. I either have to restart Chrome, or Show Password, highlight and Ctrl+C.

  • (2020-03-05) Steve G: Does what it says, but had to remove stars for lack of option to adjust the time or have the option to disable the function that clears your clipboard after 25 seconds. I multitask a lot and 25 seconds is way too long... I've moved into other work and suddenly loose my clipboard contents which is very frustrating. Please add the option to manually adjust how many seconds to wait until the clipboard is wiped as well as the option to disable that function if desired.

  • (2019-01-29) Jason Sloan: While it's nice to see this finally in the extension store so it can be managed at an enterprise level, the control itself is not very intelligent. The typical usefulness of the data is about 5-10 seconds and I've moved on, often capturing other data to the clipboard from network equipment. This control doesn't listen for subsequent event hits to the clipboard or check that the data currently in the clipboard is the same as the data that was copied from CyberArk and then if so clear it - it just blindly dumps the clipboard content into the ether regardless of what is actually present, sometimes resulting in data loss. It works, but it is a little disappointing. This should be relatively easy to fix, move the data to the clipboard and toss a one way hash of the data in memory. After 30 seconds, hash the current clipboard data and compare to the stored hash, if equal dump the content. If it's not, then leave it alone. Destroy the hash. Done.
