  • (2022-06-25) Tjerk Herckenrath (Terry): App hasn't been updated since 2019, so I doubt any issues like lack of control over font size will ever be addressed. Too bad.
  • (2021-02-03) Mustafa Aljanabi: just right. I loved the app and how smooth is. I will edit this comment if I got some issues or something. For now, its great!
  • (2020-09-07) Carl Last: Works well but I can't see a way of changing the font size and it's too tiny for my eyes :-(
  • (2019-03-28) Omar Almeida: I really like the idea of a IDE in a browser. I'm a Chrome Extensions developer and auto complete for chrome api is very good. I miss a template for creating Chrome Extensions not Chrome App with popup html created and ready to load. Thanks
  • (2019-03-18) I'm absolutely in love with this application! It's fast, intuitive and has a clean, non-intrusive, interface. Some new features would be welcome, but it's already quite fantastic as is. This is the best, as far as I'm concerned, way to code on a Chromebook.
  • (2018-09-15) Bryce S.: I have only one problem with this IDE, it uses spaces instead of tabs. I wish I could change a setting to fix it but the only setting I could find was to go from a dark to light theme.
  • (2017-10-08) Geoffrey Dylan: This is pretty much the best IDE in the Chrome Web Store. A couple errors though. First of all, the run button doesn't work (at least for me), and its almost impossible to change the background color if you choose the Chrome app option, but I'm sure I can figure it out. :) Otherwise, I highly recommend this IDE and great job to the team/person who made this! edit: Actually, just when you make the chrome app does the run button fail. However, if you run an HTML website or PHP website, they will both fail to display what you did. :(
  • (2017-09-24) Page Russell: Best offline IDE for chrome. Other IDEs, like cloud9 are better overall - but if you need to reliably work when you do not have internet, this is your best option.
  • (2017-09-09) Dirk K: This app works fairly well and is a good option for Chromebook users who aren't using a cloud based IDE. Nice interface and features. A few issues I've noticed: 1) Fairly frequent bug, resulting in unexpected results when attempting to render a page in the browser. For example, adding a simple comment in javascript may cause the page to fail to render without any obvious error messages in the console. A workaround is to close apps, log out (reboot not needed), and log back in. This stability issue is mainly why I rated it only 3 stars. 2) When creating a Chrome App on a Chromebook, the "Run" feature fails to show the expected popup explaining the steps needed to run the app. Here are the steps to run a Chrome App: 1) chrome://extensions/ 2) check the "developer mode" checkbox. 3) press "Load unpacked extensions" button. 4) Select your project from the resulting files popup, and your app will then appear in the extensions list. Click the "launch" link to run your app. 5) Done. You can then uncheck "Developer mode" and your app will still remain in the extensions list (unless you choose to remove it). I'd like to thank the developer for making this application available.
  • (2017-04-22) sanal bilgi kösesi: I think you can also develop a web project that does not require the implementation of chrome
  • (2017-03-05) Setia Budi Utama: best
  • (2017-01-06) Curtis: This was just what i was looking for, and is one of the best IDEs I've found on the web store! I needed something that would work on the Chrome.os. Thanks!
  • (2016-05-23) Thank you, it's a great apps.
  • (2016-05-04) MJ Hdev: Really really good! Please add emmet support!! Writing HTML by hand is cruel and unusual punishment!
  • (2016-04-02) Tyler Broussard: So far so good, some difficulty getting it to run my website!
  • (2016-02-26) Sol Sahner: This is a great IDE! I would really like if you added languages like Python or Ruby. This is my favorite IDE out of all of them on the Web Store.
  • (2015-12-03) Mothu The Slow: Love it, there is not better app than this one
  • (2015-11-06) Konstantin Zaremski: Exactly what I have been looking for!!! Would be nice to have support for python, ruby, and other languages in time. So far, working for my current web development projects.
  • (2015-09-11) Cameron: It looks really nice and is full of features.. I wish I knew Java or Php though. I will re-download if it gets ruby support!
  • (2015-06-30) Никита Конин: only one offline ide for chrome os =/
  • (2015-06-27) Great, simply, easy, but local server included :)
  • (2015-04-04) Shahriar Yazdipour: Love it... just one issue: every time i have to load my previous project
  • (2014-12-14) Hasan A Yousef: I liked it, 4 starts just because it is in alpha :)

  • (2014-10-15) Giorgio Zanetti: Great, even if I would love to have possibility to use a database!
  • (2014-09-28) moncho varela: Good option,good work.
  • (2014-09-18) Marcin Palka: I can see a lot of potential in this app. Finally I can test my angularjs projects on a Chromebook. Keep up good work! BTW: How do I report a bug if I find one? Is this app being actively developed?
  • (2014-09-10) Jose Benitez: excellent app
  • (2014-07-31) Eduard Minasyan: Awesome!!!!....
  • (2014-07-14) amsprich: I really like where this is headed. It's nice to see the visual studio look in a web based ide. I wish I could make something this cool. TypeScript support would be fantastic!
  • (2014-06-23) William Barath: Non functional. If some of the people ranting how great it is can explain how to make it work, and get the developers to fix it so it loads on a chromebook c720p then let me know and I'll re-evaluate it.
  • (2014-06-16) Mingzhang Yang: The best one. Do we still need spark?
  • (2014-06-03) Casey Halverson: Nice editor, but unable to "run" projects on Chromebook
  • (2014-05-13) Bruce K: something about the minimalism keeps me coming back.
  • (2014-04-23) Edgar Hakobyan: Really great application. It gives ability to create web applications without installing any additional software. I love it much :))))
  • (2014-04-12) Hakob Poghosyan: This is the best chrome app for web developers. It will be fine if it refresh the page after every saving and if it marks color width color(i.e. if it will have a div for every color before it, which would be filled width same color).
  • (2014-04-10) Ruben Sargsyan: Great! keep up the good work!
  • (2014-04-10) Lukas G: Light and powerful IDE!
