Description from store DiscreetTab – Hide Tab Titles & Icons for Privacy DiscreetTab is a lightweight, privacy-focused extension that lets you hide tab titles and favicons, making your browsing more discreet in shared or public environments. ✅ What’s New in v1.2: Hide Title and Favicon Activate discreet mode by clicking the extension icon or using the shortcut Ctrl+Shift+S. The tab title is replaced with a customizable format, and the favicon is either removed or replaced. Per-Domain Memory & Sync Discreet mode stays active per domain even after refreshing or reopening the tab. All settings and discreet domains are synced across your devices via Chrome Sync. Customizable Title Format Set the title format using {n} in the options (e.g., Tab {n}, [n], etc.). Auto-Discreet Mode Automatically activate discreet mode for every new tab. Custom Favicon Choose a custom favicon via URL, or use the default transparent one. Temporary Mode Enable discreet mode for a limited time: the tab will restore itself after the set duration. Keyboard Shortcut Use Ctrl+Shift+S to toggle discreet mode on the current tab. Efficient Numbering Management Tabs are numbered per domain, and unused numbers are recycled. No Login, No Data Collection Everything is local and private. No telemetry, no tracking.
