For people like me I created this great Chrome extension: Paintings New Tab.
Features:
- each tab a new painting HD image. Awesome daily variation :)
- Google search for easy navigation
- Super easy mouse-over navigation over Bookmarks, Apps, Most Visited and Last Visited sites
- Some cool quotes, to feel inspired every single day!
- Speed Dial with your most beloved websites
- Nice settings, that allows you to add/remove/edit features. Play with them :)

To uninstall it, go to toolbar, type chrome://extensions, scroll down and uninstall it.

- BUT it is very frustrating to not have the artist, year and name of the painting available. A link to some information about it should be in those details too - such as wikipedia or the google art project. Perhaps add an OPTION to have information, just as there is an option to clutter things up with shortcuts.

- I really like this extension and i find it useful and enjoying! However,it would be even better to make it educational,by having the name of the paintings and the artists available. (Maybe it is already available and i haven't seen it :P ) Thank you

- I liked it. But I can't get it off of my computer. Once I got it on my theme I couldn't get it off.
