Primer Generator for Ensembl
PrimeMate is a fast and streamlined primer generator for Ensembl. Generate hundreds of primer pairs with customizable parameters and sort them to your ideal specifications.
PrimeMate Features:
*Compatible with the Ensembl genome database: simply navigate to the desired sequence and click “find primers”
*Customizable optimal product length, melting temperature, G/C content, and dimerization/hairpin threshold
*Displays information for each product, including length, melting temperature, exon location, etc.
*Sorts results by user-selected criteria: adjust the sorting weight for each variable
Automatically filters undesirable products (self-dimerizing primers, suboptimal location on sequence, etc.)
*Saves user-selected sequences in “Favorites” row
*Copies user-selected sequences to clipboard for easy sharing
