Focus AI | AI Website Blocker, Pomodoro Timer, ADHD, Distraction Blocker
Description from store

Stop fighting yourself.

Focus AI is the distraction blocker that actually
understands what you're working on. Type your task in
plain English. Focus AI reads the pages you open during
a focus session and quietly blocks anything unrelated
to that task. No URL lists to maintain.

HOW FOCUS AI WORKS

1. Tell it what you're working on
Type your task in plain English. "Draft the auth
section of the proposal." "Study chemistry past
papers." Your words, no templates.

2. Pick a session length
Choose 25, 45, or 60 minutes, or set a custom
duration for longer deep work blocks.

3. Let the AI handle the rest
Focus AI reads each page you open and decides
whether it matches your active task. Pages that
relate to your work stay open. Unrelated sites are
blocked for the rest of the session.

4. When you slip, it brings you back
If you open something off-task, you see a calm
reminder of what you said you'd be working on, and
a one-click way to return to your work.

WHY IT IS DIFFERENT

Most website blockers are static URL lists. You add
"twitter.com" once, then spend the next year fighting
your future self every time you genuinely need it for
work. Focus AI is task-aware. It reads what you said
you're doing, then judges every page against that goal.

That means the same site can be allowed for one
session and blocked for the next, automatically, based
on whether it helps your current task.

FEATURES

- AI task-based blocking during focus sessions
- 25, 45, 60 minute sessions, or any custom duration
- Calm block screen that reminds you of your task and
lets you return to work in one click
- Session history with daily streaks, sessions started,
weekly time focused, and average session length
- Local dashboard that tracks your focus progress
over time

WHO IT IS FOR

People who keep ending up on YouTube when they meant
to be studying. Writers, researchers, designers, and
founders who need long stretches of uninterrupted
thinking. Anyone tired of static blockers that don't
understand context.

PRICING

Includes 3 focus sessions to get started. No account
required to install or run your first session. Upgrade

PRIVACY

Focus AI reads the content of pages you open during an
active focus session, only to decide whether each page
matches your stated task. Page content is processed
for blocking decisions and is not stored long term.
Focus AI does not log your browsing history and does
not sell user data.

Install Focus AI and reclaim the deep work you
actually want to do.

This app was a real discovery for me. It’s not just another productivity tool — it genuinely helps improve focus and awareness of how I spend my time online. I truly believe this is something everyone could benefit from. Thank you for creating it.

It's good but it would be better if there could be a not just a browser extension but an app because I can just bypass it by using Guest Mode in Chrome or another browser, a system-wide thing like Freedom would be extremely helpful.

The option to contact the owner is NOT working , and there is no other way to contact the owner. And the extension stopped working after 30mins of installation. I really liked the idea of the extension , and willing to try it , if there is anyway to contact the owner or to get this issue fixed it will be great.

Someone had to do it. Great execution, though the gamification imo isn't needed, and unless it becomes open source I will replace it when an alternative is available because of security concerns (though the author does seem trustworthy).

This is the most slept on add on in existence. If you get distracted while working on your browser, this is the stuff. It's amazing. And the best part is the developer: This add on used to only be available on Chrome as an extension. I'm a Firefox user, so I wanted this to be available on Firefox. I messaged the developer, Sameed, and after some talking he was on the job. The very next day, he messages me saying: Hi, hope you are doing well. This was a tough one but happy that after several revisions I was able to get approved. *link to the add on* Let me know if you have any questions or concerns when trying it out. Amazing developer, amazing tool, try it out now.

Superior to StayFocusd in several important ways: 1- Better data handling. StayFocusd uses all the data from everyone who installs their extension to train models. 2- More genial prompting, less of an information dungeon than StF'd. I think you even have the option to override its gentle reminder to get back to the task you were working on. Potential improvement: Extend the trial period so that users can make a fair assessment of how this works. Overall, a great tool for deep work

This is much better than those obsolete blockers like FocusGuard which are kind of dumb at this point. I use it all the time for daily tasks, and it has the context of my whole tabs not blocking me from certain sites if I use them for work, genius!!
