This extension adds extra features to the Seattle Public Schools gradebook website, The Source
This extension introduces several useful features to the PowerSchool Source website used by Seattle Public Schools. These features include:
- Filesharing: A button to upload and share files with
your classmates on Schoology
- Individual Weight: A new column in the assignment tables
that tells you exactly how much each score affects your
overall grade in a class, taking into account both point
values and weighted categories (now works with unweighted
categories!)
- Hypothetical Grades: Ever wanted to figure out exactly what
score you need on an assignment to maintain an "A" in the
class? The Hypothetical Grades system allows you to do just
that. Click on the score of any assignment to reveal a
blinking cursor. Edit your score to the number you think
you'll be able to get. SPS GradeGrubber will then
dynamically adjust your overall grade displayed at the top
of the page, telling you exactly how a certain score will
affect your grade in the class!
- Intelligent Highlighting: Your most important assignments
are given a distinctive red stripe, making it easy to tell
apart the scores that have the biggest impact on your grade
---> (NOTE: SPS removed weighted categories, so Intelligent
Highlighting no longer exists)
- UI Improvements: Unnecessary UI components are removed,
making the Source as clean and simple as possible
- Cumulative GPA Calculator: One button click for an accurate
GPA that follows the district formula and takes into account
your grades throughout high school
- Added Bragging Rights: All grades above 97% are transformed
into "A+", and are given a distinctive purple and white
color scheme
