Instead, it turned out to be a complete disaster: Doesn’t work properly even with a paid premium plan. Speed is ridiculously slow, barely reaching 1Mbps on private servers. Support is non-existent – automated responses, no real help. Absolute waste of money – it's hard to find anything worse for a paid service. This app is a total scam. Avoid at all costs!

• (2024-08-25) Puma Peeks (KingOfThePumas): Still works flawlessly as of August 25. After decompiling the extension, I can vouch that there is no analytics inside the extension! Premium servers are 100x faster as well but the free ones works OK.
• (2024-07-29) Danilo Mara: Hoody Proxy is a solid privacy extension with NO advertising. It's easy to use and offers a good selection of proxy servers to chooze from. Web Interference is well done and very easy to use. The only downside is that the free mode sometimes take-up to 10 seconds to connect while Premium locations are instant when clicking. is this voluntary?
• (2024-07-10) Leu Mil: Wow, never thought I'd leave a review for an add-on, but this one's legit! The interface is slick, the website is pro - you can tell some real tech wizards put this together. Definitely not some half-baked project. Really hope Hoody takes off and becomes a big deal for privacy stuff, like how Mullvad is. Would be awesome to see them both kicking butt in the privacy world. Anyway, great job to the team behind this!

• (2024-07-01) Vivion Blanca: I rate it 5 stars just because it works out of the box without signup, click on the big connect button and you are in Amsterdam! No false advertising which is not common in current times. This addon would benefit from a few more features, just to look more complete
• (2024-06-25) Kojie San: I've finally come across a proxy extension that offers no-log and double-hop connections by default, which is the only way to achieve decent privacy. The speed is impressive: fast.com shows 580Mbps when connected, compared to 600mbps when not using any proxy. The difference in download speed is barely noticeable, I even feel that youtube vidz are faster to load! It would be even better if there were an option to customize the useragent as well with a premade list so I can finally remove other extensions.

• (2024-06-15) Nicole Cortez: Overall, I gotta say, Hoody is pretty awesome even tho it's still in Beta. I've been using the "Bulletpoof" Proxy (w/ upgraded Key) for about 10 days now, and here are my thoughs: -My IP address seems to change every 10 seconds, which is really good for privacy and tracking. -Using Bulletproof Proxy World is a bit slow, I'd suggest going for Regional instead as it's really fast, almost as fast as using normal connection. -Sometimes, tabs end up reusing the same IP address, but I guess that's normal since it's random. -Occasionally, I had to solve captchas twice, which is a bit annoying. It would be even better if you could add a mode to avoid specific locations, like Albania IP address pop up sometimes when using Bulletproof EU Proxy, and a lot of websites block the country completely. Please release a MAC version of Hoody App too.

Definitely great value for money if you compare with most paid VPN providers
