• (2017-07-30) Shannon Ingraham: When I open this app my in-use cookies skyrockets from 28 to between 260-300 cookies! It uses so much memory I really can't do anything else if I have TextNow open, and as a result I just check a couple times per day if I have messages. It also uses so much memory that the program itself drags, and when I type I often have to wait quite a while for my writing to actually appear while it changes ads. Sections of texts get received in the wrong order, which creates misunderstandings (I'll receive the second half of a long text before the first half). My Chromebook has virtually no other apps installed and I keep the history wiped, so everything else I do (including online gaming) runs perfectly smoothly...just not this app.

• (2017-01-06) very good back up for when no phone service or issues with cell. The app, website are synced and interactive and can use on multiple devices. For the very small inconveniences of wifi, to dropped calls to lag of time on messages, it's truly a great app and worth it.
