Netcat in the browser

Image from store Netcat
Description from store A simple TCP/UDP client designed for quick debugging. Supports connecting to remote systems as well as listening (note that Chrome itself does not currently allow for listening TCP sockets). All of this is in the browser. No stupid external websites to do the connections for you. Works offline/local/etc... Inspired by the venerable netcat project by *Hobbit*. Source code: https://github.com/vapier/chrome-ext-netcat

  • (2019-01-30) I want to test sending/receiving UDP messages. "Listen" Doesn't work on chrome for UDP. When it is not working on TCP/UDP what is the purpose of that? Not only this, even I am not able to send/receive anything although I am able to connect to my nc server via another terminal and send/receive messages on both of them.

Would love to see a github repository of the sources for this - am using it on a Chromebook 2 and would like to be able to use netcat from the command prompt (chronos shell in developer mode).
