• (2025-04-12) Michael Bannon: Three times in the last month I have sent info to the developers that the Landscape static pictures does not seem to be working. I have received no reply and the problem does not seem to be fixed. Landscape was working fine a couple of months ago. Both Urban and Animals are still working ok. The url for the Landscape thumbnail on the settings page is https://images.pexels.com/photos/531234/pexels-photo-531234.jpeg This WORKS but is very slow in returning a photo. The url for the Start Page image is https://static.pexels.com/photos/531234/pexels-photo-531234.jpeg This DOES NOT WORK. It MAY return a Start Page photo about 1% of the time but usually nothing. This problem is the same on 3 browsers - Vivaldi, Edge and SlimJet. (The Urban and Animal settings get photos from Flickr and work). The problem seems to be with pexel.com It's too bad. I really liked Live Start Page when it was working. It would be nice to know if the developers are aware of this problem or if I am the only one experiencing it. I have tried other live wallpapers but I don't like them as much as Live Start Page - especially when I was able to use the Landscape selection. (Three stars for this problem and lack of developer response.) [Edit - Forgot to say that "Animals" gets some pics from flicker and some from pexels so it only works some of the time.]

• (2024-07-26) Arius L: I've had these background themes on my chrome tabs for years on several different chromebooks. It does slow down your system so if you have a weak chromebook I would only use the 'static' themes. I use the motion themes. I wish there was a bigger choice but it's pretty well stocked. (I'd like more animals, floral too). They never address issues with the product. I can't get rid of that 'Focus' bar for the life of me. I have it turned off but the dang thing is huge on my screen and I don't want it at all. Also the weather. Doesn't let me enter MY zip code, it only allows me to set 'city' temp which is always way off target. Also there page to contact them or report an issue is a joke. You fill out the form and nothing happens.. you can't click to 'submit'.
