The single thing I would change, is to add a key to close the window instead of having to click, as when watching videos it resumes the video. Thanks for making this

It's perfect for learning japanese but, is there some way that I can use it for English? like for english rare words, if I try using a EN-ES instead of JP-EN dictionary would it work and how can I do that?

One of the best developed pop-up dic. out there! Developer definitely put a lot of time into it...I would love...however if there was something similiar for the Korean language... Most Korean "pop-up" dics don't have ANY Anki integration at all... It would be a dream come true.

It's amazing, I don't understand why it doesn't have >1M users. Everyone who learns Japanese should have it. One problem I ran into recently is that it no longer works with Google Docs (because Google Docs switched to canvas rendering). I turned on "Force HTML-based rendering for Google Docs", but it wasn't enough. I hope one day this could be fixed, for now I had to switch to Zoho docs (where Yomichan works fine).

A game changer - like rikaikun but better. The level of customization with this is crazy and it makes kanji lookups lightning fast and super easy. Very thankful to Alex for making this gem of a language learning aid!

Instant convenient lookup with pitch accent, native pronunciation, Anki support, (AND you can add JP-JP dictionaries onto it too). Makes immersion learning RIDICULOUSLY convenient and efficient. Wish I could pay money for this thing lol

Fantastic extension! Really helps with daily learning. In particular, I like how I can traverse from a word to a single kanji, and it will define that kanji to give a deeper understanding of why the word is written how it is. It also has lots of configuration settings which is a great feature that isn't commonly offered in extensions, or at least not to this extent. Would recommend!

Great tool but I have a feature request and will update to five stars if it is implemented. I would like to be able to set the addon so I can limit scans within a popup to only a specific dictionary. So for example I would like to scan the initial word with a monolingual dictionary and then scan words within the popup with only the english to japanese dictionary. That way I can learn difficult dictionary vocab with english. I hope that makes sense. Thank you.

Helps immensely, especially with kanji! Though occasionally some kanji and slang words aren't able to be read or defined by Yomichan, it works most of the time and helps me infer meaning of sentences if I don't know a word.

Insanely good, brilliant support for custom dictionaries and anki, if you don't have this extension you are seriously missing out!

Works perfectly with J-J dictionaries and I appreciate the recursive lookup feature. Very customizable too!

This add-on combined with anki is great!

Yomichan is great improvement over rikai-kun's family, with Anki integration and you can also add another dictionaries too!. While it's not 100% perfect, this is a must have ext for JP learners. Also if you have any trouble, the devs is on github and ready to help.

It's very very good, but I've stumbled upon a bug that kind of broke my Yomichan. The CTRL C function to copy and automatically search for a word or kanji stopped working. I have to manually paste it in a separate tab inside the browser and click "search", it's a drag. To be more specific, I was using it perfectly inside Anki's ambient during reviews. But now I have to manually paste and search. These manual searches add up quickly, and seconds become precious minutes. Still, excellent extension. Lots of customization options and very user-friendly.

It took me a very long time to set up but it was worth it!

Recently, there has been a lot of trouble, so it can't be used After trying it again a few times, it stopped working after a day or two If developers see this comment, hopefully they can improve it. Thank you

So many errors just to install a dictionary. Googling the error would lead to a 3 pages worth of code on a Github website, yeah I think I'll pass on that.
