Description from store
Did you ever find yourself scrolling through tons of results in "Google Maps" but they only have very little reviews compared to the ones that have thousands?
This extension will help you sort "Google Maps" results by the number of reviews descending. Also you can sort by the rating.
THE EXTENSION WORKS ON THE FOLLOWING URLS:
* https://maps.google.com
* https://google.com/maps
It *won't* work on local "Google Maps" URLs.
This extension adds the sorting button on the bottom right part. To use it:
* Search for what you want.
* Scroll down through the search results to fetch as many results as you want. This is because the sorting happens only on the client side.
* Click on the sorting button.
* You can configure the sorting by the number of reviews (default) or by the rating. In addition you can choose to filter results with a minimum number of reviews.

- (2025-03-17) Tony: It works well.
- (2025-01-28) Ian G: Works well but make sure you are using google.com/maps, and not google.co.uk/maps
- (2025-01-27) Korutz: This is filtering, not sorting. Nevertheless, it is quite useful, even though business owners tend to remove negative reviews on Google Maps, which skews the ratings.
- (2025-01-10) Dave K.: This is great, works like a charm. Be sure to watch the video.
- (2024-12-20) Merge Group: Does not work
- (2024-11-09) Vipa: Must have extension to research results using google maps. Feature that google map should adopt.
- (2024-10-26) Marcus Chiam: I am on google.com/maps but I don't see the sort button on the bottom right. All I see are the location button, zoom in, zoom out and street view button on the bottom right. I checked my extension and it's enabled right now.
- (2024-05-07) Ömer Faruk Turgut: Finally, someone did this! Now, it would be great to have the option to filter search results based on ratings, such as only showing results with a 4.7 rating or higher, or even 4.9 and above. Thanks for the extension!
- (2024-05-03) Rene: This man is god himself. Just scroll down with " Picture Down " at the button and then press the button. I usally dont write rezessionen but this man deserve a raise. Plz dont stop this app until google build that in by themself. .
- (2024-04-18) Slick Willy: I dont see an easy way to sort from a long search result other than scowling down to the very bottom ( many pages) then hitting the button on the right. Otherwise it on sorts the 1st 10 results.
- (2024-03-02) Karthik R: This is exactly what I was looking for. Pls watch the video to learn how to use the extension. I initially downloaded, not able to figure out how to use it/ misunderstood it didnt work, removed the extension. Later, decided to give it a 2nd try after watching the video and now it works great.

- (2023-11-30) James: Exactly what i asked for. Very useful for my history homework
- (2023-11-27) Cathal Garrad: Works perfect. Can you add an option to sort by Google review score rather than the number of reviews? To be even more useful, sort by Google review score and list using Google review score and in order of highest number to lowest number of reviews for each review score increment! Thanks for your time on this extension.
- (2023-11-24) Chew Shau Hwa: Simple and perfect extension. Works as intended
- (2023-10-17) Joe: Simple and easy. Better to have the button close to extension icon.

- (2023-08-05) Kevin Huang: Thanks for the script (it doesn't actually work atm). Simple fix: 1. Press f12 2. Go to sources tab 3. Click the double right-arrow on the left, select Content Scripts 4. Go to the code for this script 5. Change line 15 to const parentContainer = elements[0].closest('div.Nv2PK').parentNode.parentNode; 6. Change line 19 to const articleElement = element.closest('div.Nv2PK').parentNode; 7. Save and run it. To the developer, I couldn't find any divs with role=article that encapsulates each search result, so that is why elements[0].closest('div[role=article]') returned null.

- (2023-08-02) Victor Fernandez: Yep, doesn't work. Console says: Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read properties of null (reading 'parentNode') at HTMLDivElement.sortResults (content_script.js:15:69)

- (2023-07-06) Srđan Lazić: Very useful extension! At first the "sort" button didn't show up, but eventually I found out that I had to access Google Maps using the .com URL: google.com/maps. Using my localized domain version (.rs) didn't work.
