Hindert Google daran, deine Suchanfragen zu verfolgen.
Searchonymous hilft dir, deine Google-Suchen privat zu halten: Wenn installiert, werden bei der Suche keine Tracking-Cookies an Google gesendet. Auf diese Weise kann Google keine Suchanfragen mit deinem Konto verbinden oder einen Suchverlauf erstellen. Außerdem erhälst du keine individuellen Suchergebnisse.
Wenn das Add-on aktiv ist, scheint es Google, dass du während der Suche von deinem Google-Account abgemeldet bist (siehe den "Anmelden"-Button oben rechts). Du bleibst jedoch bei anderen Google-Diensten wie Youtube oder Google Mail angemeldet.
Wenn du die Google Sucheinstellungen ändern möchtest, stelle sicher, dass in den Add-On-Einstellungen der "Sucheinstellungen Cookie" erlaubt ist. Standardmäßig wird dieser Cookie blockiert, wodurch Änderungen an deinen Sucheinstellungen verworfen werden.
Bitte beachte, dass es andere Möglichkeiten des Trackings gibt, gegen die dich dieses Add-on nicht schützen kann, wie z.B. die Verwendung der IP-Adresse oder des Browser-Fingerabdrucks.

- So far it's working great, letting me search google without an account but not signing me out of other google sites. also I haven't encountered captcha or agreeing the google terms pop-up. Will update my rating if anything changes...

- Web Dev here: Only a few lines of code it seems (peeked at the code). Also, if you do a before and after, you can see that cookies are no longer sent on google requests :).

To all who thinks about how to check whether it works: - open google.com - login to google (top on the right) - refresh google.com - you are logged in (top on the right you'll see you avatar) - fill any search query into google.com and enter - you get SERP and on top on the right you'll see the login button "login" - you are logged out, - open google.com in another tab - you are logged in
