Description from store
Save and track YouTube™ videos and timestamps with this convenient extension, no need to keep track of timestamps and links in files and such. Just click the save button under the video and the extension will keep track of the time as the video progresses for you. Or, if you prefer, manually save a timestamp so you can find it later.
✅ Features:
──────────────────────────────────────
‣ Save videos for access later into organized directories/groups.
‣ Autoplaying timestamp, a specific timestamp is saved and synced to the current time of the video you are watching, so you can always find it later.
‣ Timestamps have attached messages so you can keep them organized.
‣ Robust search functionality, which allows you to search for videos via titles or even any specific timestamp message.
‣ Any saved timestamps will (optionally) appear on the video timeline as bubbles, allowing you to quickly jump between multiple at any point. You can drag these timestamps around for easy editing.
‣ Excellent QoL features, the extension can be navigated easily by using tab/arrow keys and keyboard shortcuts.
‣ Plenty of customization options, change themes by selecting from a varied selection of presets, or even by creating your own custom theme. Customize the extension to whatever your preference is.
📌 How is the performance?
──────────────────────────────────────
This extension is very performance friendly, I personally use an older low end laptop (Ryzen 3 4300U) with this extension and it works smoothly. If performance is an issue however, you can disable features such as the timeline buttons which will impact performance the most.
📌 Why not use the existing "watch history" feature?
──────────────────────────────────────
While the watch history feature may automatically keep track of the last timestamp you watched the video, it does not allow you to organize and save specific videos and specific timestamps. For example:
‣ You may only want to keep track of a small number of videos, instead of every video you have watched.
‣ If say, you need to reference a specific point, or multiple points in a video, such as a tutorial with many chapters, then you would need to keep track of the timestamps manually in a separate file. This is the situation where this extension is the most useful.
