⚙️ What gets converted
The extension intelligently separates printer-specific settings from print quality settings:
Automatically updated for the Snapmaker U1:

Printer identity, bed dimensions (270×270×270 mm)
Klipper G-code macros (start, end, tool change, layer change)
Hardware limits: speeds, accelerations, nozzle specs
Travel speed set to U1 default (500 mm/s)
Multi-material system converted from AMS to tool-changer

Carried over from the original file:

Layer height and initial layer height
Infill density and pattern
Wall and shell counts
Support settings (type, style, angle, interfaces)
Brim, raft, and skirt settings
Filament colors — exactly as set in the original
Paint jobs and per-face color assignments on the model
Filament type temperatures and material properties

Filament profiles remapped cleanly:
Brand-specific Bambu filament profiles (e.g. "Bambu PLA Basic @BBL A1") are automatically remapped to generic equivalents (e.g. "Generic PLA") that Snapmaker Orca Slicer recognizes, while preserving all colors and temperature settings.
