▶ How to use:
1️⃣ After installation - go to Gmail page.
2️⃣ Select "Chat" from the side menu.
3️⃣ Now you can see the "READ RECEIPTS" button. To disable read receipts, toggle the button to "OFF".

⚠️ PLEASE NOTE! ⚠️
While the read receipts are disabled, some chat functionality may not work correctly. It is recommended that you switch it back to "ON" after reading the messages.

- Working for me. Came up after I closed the page and reopened my google mail. However, it says some functions may not work while this is on. Plus it is has a constant blinking caution triangle. Note-When viewing on a mobile device, and seeing it without clicking on it-will show unread.

- It is not working. The button to turn on or off receipts never came after installation of the extension, is there any other way?

- Watched the video and still cant get it to work. The button never shows up on m email page. Does this feature not work for Google Chats the web app?

- I had just recently installed extension turn off receipts on Google Chat and I don't see anything from me to know it is working. If it can be fixed or updated I'd appreciate it.

- It was initially not working on Chromebook. I informed the developer and he released a quick fix, now it's perfectly working.

- Doesn't work. I have it installed, and when I read a message it still shows as being read. In Google Email the chat button is there, but there's no switch to turn it off and on
