The DocDecoder browser extension uses GPT-4 to generate clear, concise summaries of any website's legal policies for you to skim over before you accept them.
Just open the extension on any website and view summaries of the site's legal policies (Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, etc.).
If a policy hasn't been summarised by us yet, you can generate your own summary by entering the URL, and we'll return a summary to you in 30 seconds or less.
Each summary contains the below sections:
✍ Key considerations - up to 30 very short points about how the policy will affect you directly.
👀 Things to watch out for - highlights anything particularly misleading, harmful, or sinister.
💡 AI recommendations - a short paragraph from the AI that gives recommendations on how to deal with the site, based on the policy.
🧠 Predicted FAQs - 3 questions the AI predicts that you will have regarding the policy.

- (2024-01-04) Philip Naudus: I just installed this extension. The summaries are clear and easy to read. The color coding makes it easier to skim than a ChatGPT response. I don't sign up for enough new services every month to justify the premium subscription, but I've used the free plan to read up on services that I already use.
