THIS WAS MY FAV EXTENTSION! and now... IT'S BEEN RUINED! Why? Because this now opens a new Youtube tab randomly for some reason... WHY? And why do you guys need my browsing history? Use Ublock Origin instead!
Always open the new YouTube tab. Whether you go back to the previous page, go to the next page, open a bookmark, open a new tab, or even just click on a blank space on the web page or type, etc., the new YouTube tab will be triggered. The key point is No permission options appear asking me to allow the program. This phenomenon was not improved until I removed Ad Speedup - Skip Video Ads 16X Faster. The originally useful extensions have now become like this. ------------------------- Updated on November 9th, there is no more random opening of new tabs.
its blocked on youtube the place you wanna use it and they say you can use it on twitch but it frezzes every 2 seconds and I timed too and it was 3 seconds faster just use Ublockorigin for youtube and ads in general
youtube update has broken this - it now spawns and moves you to a new youtube tab when an ad tries to run - is a fix planned

The current version has serious bugs. A new tab is created even though the user did not intend to do so, and the Youtube home screen is displayed there. This is very frustrating.

This product works great for its original purpose, but the new integration of ChatGPT has made the experience considerably worse. Now my YouTube page is cluttered by information I don't need. Not only is the use of AI in this circumstance unethical, but it also doesn't even make sense. Why would a program that is supposed to speed up ads also provide summaries of videos?
I love watching and consume ads in 16 time the speed so i know what the world is going on but can you stop having youtube tab keep poping up it is eating my computer resource while watching 5 ads at the same time

With the latest update you disturbed it! Every few seconds a new Youtube-Tab opens. So the app is unuseable.

It was working 9/10 times till yesterday (altough I have many other Adblockers) and today I just found out that it was this extension that started opening a new tab of youtube almost everytime I clicked or typed anything. Thus it is now turned off until all of it is fixed; both the new tab of youtube AND it actually working.
After having this extension for around a year I can say that sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes it does weird stuff like speeding up your youtube videos and not the ads. Youtube detects it sometimes and misses it other times. Now its randomly opening up youtube tabs across multiple browsers. These guys eventually iron out the kinks only to create new ones all the while trying to dodge youtubes detection. I say roll the dice. You can always just turn it on once in a while to see if its working or not. These days it's nice to have something that kinda works when I can't connect my VPN to somewhere that doesn't allow the ever increasingly aggressive ads for hot garbage that youtube thinks I need to see every 30 seconds. OMG the internet is a dumpster fire.
