GNT:Glass New Tab replaces your Chrome New Tab page with a clean, iOS/macOS‑inspired glass design.

Key features
- Spotlight‑style search: quickly search from the New Tab using your default Chrome search provider.
- Weather card: shows current conditions and details (uses your chosen location, or GPS only if you enable it).
- Shortcuts & dock: add your favorite sites/apps for fast access, plus an apps grid for popular services.
- Themes & appearance: Light / Dark / System themes with accent color customization.
- Optional widgets: ToDo list and Sticky Notes for quick productivity.

Search behavior (important)
- The search box uses the Chrome Search API to run searches through the user’s default Chrome search provider.
- This extension does not set or change your default search engine.

Privacy & data handling
- Your preferences (theme, layout, shortcuts, widgets, etc.) are saved locally on your device.
- Weather data is fetched from the configured weather providers only when Weather is enabled.
- The extension does not sell or transfer user data.

Permissions
- Storage: to save your settings and shortcuts locally.
- Search: to perform searches using your default Chrome search provider from the New Tab page.
