  • (2017-12-19) Graham Poulter: Mines coins with Coinhive, costing you ~25% of your CPU just to show a timer.
  • (2017-10-01) James Maningo: Just link to website
  • (2017-05-10) Pedro Gustavo: It was different. It used to have some stat, internal and external counters and stuff. I don't know what happened.
  • (2016-05-17) Adam Goodall: It's design is a little lacking. The main issue is the timer occasionally freezes and doesn't continue. Defeats the point. Will just go back to googling 'timer' and using the chrome result as a timer instead.

  • (2014-01-14) M. H.: This extension is required for desktop notifications. If you don't need desktop notifications, just visit Pomodoro.me without downloading the extension. The only Pomodoro length available is 25 minutes. Some of us prefer to work in smaller or larger increments, so it would be nice if this were customizable. The short break can be set from 3 to 5 minutes, and the long break can be set from 10 to 30 minutes, which is adequate for me. I do like that you have to click to start the breaks instead of it automatically starting, so this gives me time to finish up what I'm doing before I start my break. I also wish you could select alarm volume/sound (the alarm is jarring) and that it would keep track of how many Pomodoro cycles you've done. I guess if you want those features, you have to download Pomodoro software, but this is the best in-browser option I've found.
  • (2013-12-16) Debbie Chen: Fantastic app, has revolutionized the way I work. I only wish you could change the alarm sound used - it's jarring and unpleasant and I'd prefer to use something a little less brash.
  • (2013-12-13) Panutda Vichakun: gerat to work
  • (2013-11-27) Haim Yuhter: simple and smooth
  • (2013-10-21) Sara Wykoff: Easy to use!
  • (2013-10-15) Frank Kwong: Nice app which enhanced my productivity. Easy to use and didn't eat up my system resources much. I'd love to recommend this app to my friends.
  • (2013-09-30) Laura Sweat: This app is beautifully designed. It's aesthetically pleasing, flexible and easy to use.
  • (2013-09-23) Jossue Galdamez: Excelent app!! i love it
  • (2013-07-29) LucyBeloved: I am so excited that I found this! I have terrible time management skills but find breaks during homework are essential: I just forget to end my breaks! When school starts again I will be putting this app through its paces, for sure :)
  • (2013-05-25) Caroline w: I really like this app. Yes it does open in a new tab. The UI is attractive - over other's I have viewed. I love that you can see the countdown time ON the actual tab so no need to keep going back and forth from the web page. It's customizable - you can set your own times within the Pomodoro minutes. You get an audible sound for when times up along with a visual countdown. Overall, it's good as a go-to app and helps to take necessary breaks from your work. Productivity is increased as is a freshened focus. Great help.
  • (2013-05-20) Rowan Chamberlain: Like this pomodoro app the best because unlike other apps, it has an audio AND visual notification when time is up (which you can see when browsing other tabs - or hear if in another program). Also unlike other pomodoro apps, it doesn't force you to alternate between pomodoro and break timers - you can select any you want at any time (this is helpful if you miss a round or forget to set the timer and only want to work another 15 minutes before break). Additionally, breaks are now flexible. No other app has this many simple features or flexibility. Thank you!
  • (2013-05-11) Clayton de Oliveira Jr: What happened to the old tomato-timer icon? The new one is just plain ugly, sorry.
  • (2013-05-10) Tony Carey: I use it all the time - Increases my productivity and shortens my workday
  • (2013-04-23) Chris Topher: Why the app? Just use the url to go to the site like the app does.
  • (2013-04-07) Charly Valdez: I don't know if it is a joke, but the application is only an hyperlink to the principal page. I know how to put in practice the method but what happen if i don't have internet access at the moment? I thought that it was a chrome application
  • (2013-03-26) Brennan Morrow: very nice, I like how it runs with the time on the chrome tab. simple nice. needs to have sound option though. Ticking of the clock is to remind you, you are doing a Pom.
  • (2013-01-22) Fred Northey: I wish it automatically did the five minute break .
  • (2012-12-25) Daniel Craig: Almost too simple
  • (2012-12-20) An Hong: Immensely helpful if you constantly worry about time. I don't know about other people, but for me, I have actually *stopped* worrying about time running out, and just let it flow. Helped extremely, as I got most of my work done, and in faster time. :]
  • (2012-12-02) Perfect! Awesome! Just what I wanted. I love that it pops up when I'm on another webpage.
  • (2012-11-13) Rochelle Wong: If it can work offline, that will be perfect!
  • (2012-11-09) Rhana Natour Fares: Very basic and straightforward. Biggest problem is that it doesn't track how many pomodoro's you've used and how many breaks you've taken.Find this essential and the extension's biggest oversite.
  • (2012-11-05) Fer C.: It's just a link, it doesn't even work offline, and if you close the tab by mistake the timer won't work (I know this is hard for a webapp to prevent but at least there could be a warning before closing the page). In the website they say that installing the app is required for desktop notifications which wouldnt make much sense since there's a html5 API for that, without the need of an extension. Also the times are not customizable. I would recomend strict pomodoro" extension instead". It solves all of this, blocks procrastinating websites and it's open source.
  • (2012-09-27) Completely useless. It doesn't do anything that a simple timer can't do just by setting the timer to 25, 15, or 5 minutes.Garbage.
  • (2012-04-15) Luke Kysow: Very basic, but well done.
  • (2012-02-28) Shaunica: One-click link to a webpage, but it does its job, right? I thought so. Clean interface, keeps me focused. That's all I need.
