SendWhat - WhatsApp Automation

SendWhat is a WhatsApp automation companion that works directly on WhatsApp Web in Google Chrome. It helps you quickly sync contacts into your SendWhat account and then create campaigns and automation workflows in the SendWhat dashboard.

What it does:
- Sync visible contacts from WhatsApp Web into your SendWhat account (user‑initiated)
- Show a small SendWhat panel inside WhatsApp Web for quick actions
- Open the SendWhat dashboard to create campaigns and automation workflows

How it works:
1) Install the extension
2) Open WhatsApp Web (`https://web.whatsapp.com`)
3) Sign in to SendWhat in the extension popup
4) Click “Sync contacts” to import contacts into SendWhat
5) Open the SendWhat dashboard to create and manage your campaigns/automations

Permissions explained:
- Host permissions
- `https://web.whatsapp.com/` is required to run the content script and read the visible contact list when you trigger a sync.
- `https://api.sendwhat.com/` is required to securely send synced contacts and related events to your SendWhat account.

- storage: stores your session token locally so you stay logged in.
- activeTab: used only when you click an extension action to interact with the current WhatsApp Web tab.
- notifications: shows status messages like “sync completed” or “not authenticated”.

Privacy:
- The extension does not sell personal data.
- It does not execute remote code; all extension code ships in the package.
- Data access is limited to WhatsApp Web and SendWhat API, and contact sync is initiated by the user.
