Visualping Chrome Extension

Image from store Visualping
Description from store Visualping is a simple service for monitoring websites for changes. You'll receive an email notification when it detects any change in the content of the page. ------------------------------------------------------------- Version 4.7.5 - minor bug fix ------------------------------------------------------------- Use the service for competition monitoring, price checks, ticket availability tracking and more using the server service and email alerts (62 checks/month free) or browser tab (free as your computer does the job) You can either choose to monitor the whole website or just an area of a website. To select the area, just drag a selection on the screenshot shown within the extension. New element selector allows to track changes on a specific element of the webpage. The app also allows to compare changes in text in addition to visual changes. Happy Monitoring! • (2025-05-27) Dibutil Ftalat: It used to be a good extension where I could use RegEx or JS path to identify tracked elements. Now I can pick an element visually and... it detects changes anywhere on the page, ignoring that I have selected a specific item to track. Useless unless the tracked page is 100% static. Very disappointed.
  • (2025-05-27) Denz: It would be a 5 star product if the server monitor displayed seconds or, at the very least, minutes.
  • (2025-05-19) Gnarly: Why doesn't server have seconds as a option? Other than that, it's alright.

  • (2024-07-30) Graeme van Malsen: Visualping is fantastic! As a freelance translator, for certain clients, I am supposed to receive an email alert when new jobs become available. But for some reason, I don't receive the emails, which means other translators get all the new jobs. Since installing Visualping, I know every time a new job becomes available and I often manage to grab it before somebody else does. Thanks, Visualping. I now earn extra money that I would've lost out on before installing your extension!
  • (2024-06-18) Guna Sekhar: Visualping has been an absolute lifesaver for me! As a web developer, I constantly need to monitor client websites for any changes or updates. Before Visualping, I had to manually check each site, which was incredibly time-consuming and prone to errors. But with this nifty Chrome extension, I can set up monitoring for specific pages or even individual elements with just a few clicks. The visual comparison tool is fantastic for quickly identifying what's changed, and the email notifications ensure I never miss an important update. It's affordable, easy to use, and has become an essential part of my workflow. Highly recommended for anyone who needs to stay on top of website changes without the hassle.

  • (2024-05-26) dominik: Their previous extension Page Monitor was reliable, easy to use, quick and functional. This thing, not at all. Every time you press view changes it opens up a page an creates a new comparison thus overriding the one you want to see. Now I have to rely on their competitors that are better at doing the job, but worse than their Page Monitor.

  • (2024-05-09) Karen Mueser: Can't stand the update. Page Monitor was so much better. Update: Page Monitor was still so much better. I don't want an email sent to me when something changes. I don't need more emails. I'd rather have the notification up in the task bar like Page Monitor and the ability to click on the notification to go to my pages to see the change.

  • (2024-05-06) This is not as easy to use as the old page monitor. I recommend re-enabling the page monitor. Please consider my opinion. Few functions, high false alarm rate, complex operation, restart page monitor Thank you.
  • (2024-05-02) Matt Collinge: I'm a long-time user of Page Monitor, and Visualping feels like a downgrade; I can't edit any pages I add, nor can I enter a 'select' query to narrow down exactly what I want to monitor on more complex pages.. I need to be able to look at the URL inside a link for some things I monitor; Page Monitor could do this, but Visualping can't; it purely looks at the text on the page, nothing else. We just need more options for advanced users; I'm hoping the summer update will solve this.. can you provide more details of what it'll contain? I've been able to download & modify the old Page Monitor extension to work with localStorage (only a few functions need changing in base.js) if anyone from Visualping is interested? The only problem with be needing to move to Manifest v3 in the future. But as it stands, I have this extension fully working without using WebSQL.
