DISH Anywhere Chrome Video Player

Just like everyone says - it does not work.

Does nothing but redirect me to its app store page.

Don"t even waste your time. The wheel of death never stops, log out and back in it still hangs up your dish access. Totally worthless!

Why is this even in the store? Dish says they don't support it. "We're sorry, but your web browser, operating system, or the combination of both is not currently supported by the SlingPlayer plug-in. Please click here for more information." And that leads to a 404o Here's their response... Good afternoon,____! Chromebooks aren't supported by Dish Anywhere; you may be able to get it working but the download is designed for Apple and Windows systems. -P.M. Ridiculous! Samsung 3 Chromebook laptop.

This extension is terrible. There shouldn't be a need for such an extension as a significant other number of services manage to stream video online without requiring an extension. The way it shows ads is buggy, slow, and repetitive and it fails to start, stop, and restart video consistently.

I dont even understand the point of this extension. All I know if I can never watch any Dish stuff on my computer because literally everything they do is poorly executed. Counting down the days to your bankruptcy Dish.

Chrome Browser here on my MAC, it does not work. Little spinning wheel just spins indefinitely. I need to use Safari. Tried to put the Dish Anywhere APP on here from the Google Play Store, but it says it is already installed, which it is on my Chromebook & my Amazon Fire HD8 tablet. So I see no way to get THAT App. from the Google Play Store on this MAC to get it to work with Chrome. At least I can use it, having, "Safari, but I alway prefer Chrome.

I keep getting error 17 and will not connect on this pc only. other devices dishanywhere works

seems to be working right up to the point of trying to watch something and it immediately responds that it is not compatible. Doug Fahle

Works perfectly fine on my Windows 10 PC AND on my Windows 10 laptop. Just wish the actual player had a guide.

Just continually says requesting entitlement.

Unable to get it to load. Keep getting a message saying "Requesting entitlement".

constant error 16 code.. like every few minutes, day in and day out.. "We have detected that your Internet connection is insufficient for playing video. (Error 16)

Due to my os, I cannot get it on my Chromebook. I pay over $125 monthly and cannot watch. This is ridiculous. I have had dish for almost 20 years and this is the only problem I have and very disappointed about it.

Imagine paying too much for something that doesn't work.

The video skips every few seconds and I cannot watch a movie with cofort

I go on chat with Dish and they say their engineers are working on it an to try again in a week or so. That's a bad answer from a company we pay over $100.00 a month. Maybe we should all go to Direct.

This useless app refuses to connect. My Unit is clearly connected, and even shows connected within the player, and each time a connect attempt occurs, the same message of "There was a problem connecting to your DVR. (Error 2) Please verify your computer and DVR are connected to the Internet. If the problem persists, reset your DVR and modem/router and try again." happens. USELESS

Wish I could rate it negative 5 stars. Years go by and Dish still blames everyone else.
