When playing Among Us, what is the biggest mistake you have made as the impostor?
This wasn’t me but I thought I’d share anyways. I was in a random game with random people and it was obvious that one of them was a newbie. They didn’t understand how to change their skin and other things (all of this was learned from the chat). I got into the game and I was a crewmate, and after a few seconds the newbie calls an emergency meeting. People start asking why he called a meeting, and he responds with what I say is the funniest question I’ve ever heard:
”Why is my name red?”
What do I do if someone follows my every move while I'm the impostor?

Simply killl him. Use your power as impostor. And vent. He will not follow you as he i sdead. And if you cant kill him. Dont do anything suspicious. Just roam. Dont complete fake task. They can catch you. Go to security check cams only. Until he goes away or simply kill him in security and vent from there. Same you can act in admin.

I was in the lobby Played 2 to 3 games in lobby Just for fun,i wanna make imposter blind So i asked host to decrease imposter vision to 0.25 and he did After starting game, im the imposter lol( 1 imposer only) Lost it but funny experience
Why is the game 'Among Us' so addictive?
Well, This is me by the name Kirito(still using so if someone gonna use it , be mindful i might impose a copyright😜)
So, I joined a lobby and by the looks of there chat it seemed like they all had played quite a few matches together. There was a player with red colour and same as mine hat in the lobby and everyone was praising him for playing good and figuring out who the imposters were. Then , he types in chat literally ordering me to remove my hat. Well, No offense there.
So, the match starts and i was crewmate. From Cafeteria, i directly visited electrical, so red comes in and suddenly a body is reported..
Blue:— In Nav.
Cyan:— any sus red?
Most of em:—?
Red:— black
Me:— why? You were with me in elec.
Red:— i hate your character sprite and also you directly visited electrical. You are the second imposter.
And they voted me out.
What tricks do you personally use to win as the imposter in Among Us?
I typically wait until me and my victim are alone, however I always keep track of everyone’s whereabouts as best as I can. I check the map and the security cams frequently but try to be discreet about it.
I like to use the sabotages to my advantage. If I kill someone, then I close the doors to that room as I make my escape and close other doors so that it takes longer for them to find the body. This also helps me to find a new “alibi”.
Always make sure that you can get away long enough so that you can get to the opposite side of the map from where the body is and don’t forget to be seen by people as you move.
As for faking tasks, well that can be kinda hard. Personally, I like to pick the long tasks and tasks that don’t have any visuals to fake. So wires, which has many possible locations patterns, is the best one tbh. Another really good task is downloads. There’s only two so you have to make sure no one sees you faking the “second download”, which is typically in Admin.
I don’t have any strategy for picking my targets, I just wait until someone is close enough and no one else is nearby to vouch for that person befoe killing them.
If someone makes a dumb mistake and guesses the wrong person in discussions/meetings, let them. Encourage them without making it obvious. If someone thinks you are the imposter, then make sure you already have a pretty decent alibi prepared. Either a way to prove your location, faked task, or sus somebody else. A bad mistake that I typically see from an imposter caught in their lies is just yelling the name/color of someone random in all caps repeatedly.
As for venting, I really enjoy venting and find it kinda funny to be honest, but since there not usually enough time to do so without getting caught and the order of which vents you can pop through is so different per map, I don’t think it’s a very good idea. Always wait until it’s just you or another imposter alone in a room before and after you vent.
